I am giving the soul food experience here a 5 out of 5. Or a 12 out of 10. Each platter is Huge- enough to feed 2 people!!!! I ordered the fried Whiting with potato salad and candy Ames. It came with 4 to 5 pieces of fish, 2 pieces of bread, generous sides and cornbread. It was delicious!!. I would not recommend the curry chicken if you are looking for a true, jamaican curry period that curry here was dark and thick, like other caribbean islands, possibly trinidad, make it, and that's not what we like. You definitely want to order in.advance.. as each order is made fresh- IT IS WORTH THE WAIT!!!... there is no seating or indoor dining. Straight take out.

From initial contact which was by phone was great the politeness, service was great, then placing my order and asking questions the representative was fluent of the menu providing me with the different options. I also like the different payment options by the time I got there which was from central ave my food was ready. Upon entering the establishment I was greeted well. No wait time for a acknowledgement nor food all members that I came in contact with was polite. Thank you I shall return the food was awesome 👌

I had the pleasure of visiting Tasha’s Caribbean and Soul Food yesterday, and I have to say everything was on point! The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor, and cooked to perfection. On top of that, the service was so nice and professional—it really made the whole experience even better. The staff made me feel welcome, and you can tell they take pride in what they do. I’ll definitely be back again, and I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for authentic, flavorful Caribbean and soul food.

I ordered Oxtail Lomein and Blueberry Cornbread on Ubereats. I get a call from the restaurant telling me that they dont have oxtails and they wanted to see if I wanted to choose something else or just cancel the order. I decided to order the Jerk Chicken Lomein instead. The blueberry cornbread was excellent even though I didnt see any blueberries in it. The jerk chicken was just ok. Too many restaurants call their chicken jerk when it really isnt jerk. Jerk isnt just the sauce you splash on it. Authentic jerk chicken is seasoned and cooked a specific way. I was not impressed with it at all. Futhermore, if you are out of something, dont have it on Uber or other ordering formats. I was hoping that I wouldnt get the typical Caribbean restaurant vibes of not having whats on the menu but Tasha's is no different. Do better.

I really wanted to love this place. I ordered a loaded baked potato with oxtail. The baked potato was supposed to also come with broccoli (according to the online description) in it that was missing and I was looking forward to that combination. Also, I am used to oxtail just falling off the bone in this situation it did not. However, once you bite into it it is very tender but lacking seasoning. I will say that the baked potato is huge which is a great plus.

I also ordered a Hennessy wings and fries. My food did still arrive hot but unfortunately due to packaging I want to say the fries were already very soggy and the chicken had no sauce on them was very dry and did not taste like anything like Hennessy wings.

For the price of this meal which was 50+ I would hope for better results. I will say that the pineapple mango ginger drink is good. Once I got all of the ginger chunks out of it, put it over some ice and her cake was pretty moist.

I was scrolling through Uber Eats, about to order the “Soul Food Quick Bite” meal, but before I checked out, my mother called to see what’s actually included.”

To my surprise, the owner answered the phone. Even though she said they were busy, she still took the time to answer all our questions—super kind, super professional. AND she even put us on to the fact that they have their own app and delivery service so you don’t have to pay those crazy Uber Eats fees. Love that!

Now let’s talk about the food… baybeee, wasn’t nothing quick about that “quick bite.” The portion was generous, the taste was on point, and the packaging was top tier. You can tell they care about the food and the customer experience.

This was my first time ordering, and I’ll be back. Highly recommend!

While on vacation we stopped here and I gotta say the food was on par!!! The only thing I didn't care for was the yams but everything was so good and it hit the spot. The portions was enough to eat out of more than once. The service was excellent and everybody was really nice.

This is the 2nd time I had this and it did not disappoint. I'm from Jersey however i no longer live there so whenever I go I make sure to get some food because well let's face it there's no food like Jersey food. I stumbled upon this restaurant and it is now a part of what I call must have food stops!!!!

I love the shrimp here it is so good literally melts in your mouth and the yams are home cooked no fake canned yams.

This food was disgraceful. I had the jerk chicken last week and the sauce was not jerk but yet sweet and taste dirty. Then ordered the catfish for redemption and the fish taste like dirty mop water and and left a funny after taste. Only had a few bites and trashed it. Old and sad that they’d serve paying customers that slop. What a joke and what a waste of money!! DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Curry Chicken Roti was amazing, portion was enough for 3 people.
