Three stars because the lady on the phone was nice and patient however I received food that was so burnt, it taste burnt. When I called the restaurant, they already knew something was wrong with my order before I could say anything. The Mac \\u0026 cheese is not real Mac \\u0026 cheese, looks like a slice of cheese was added to elbow noodles. I didn't try the greens because well...Food like this should not go beyond the trash. Shame on the chef for allowing this to come out your kitchen knowing the quality. Despite my experience with what should have been crab cakes, the lemonades and deviled eggs were good.

Went for the Tastefully Hilarious Comedy Show and stayed for the food. What a great place for locals to be able to eat soul food. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Kitchen staff working hard to keep everyone satisfied. Definitely recommend and will go there again

I got the chef’s seafood pasta !!! It was so good fresh hot I ordered through doordash and they called me to let me know they were making it fresh and it was well worth the wait !!! Great service I would definitely be ordering again and coming for dine in ❤️

First time but not the last ,Ordered 3 platters of the whiting & fries for me and my family Everything was delicious ! friendly worker's, good portion, plenty extra condiments (without me asking)even comes with side salad! Great prices, Beyond my expectations!

My dad (A Veteran) spent $60+tip ($70 total) on three meals and was outraged. This S*** was NOT bussin'. Milton C and the others from out of town/state are giving misleading reviews. We've had better hospital, prison, school cafeteria, and nursing home food. The mac was lackin' cheese and the yellow/brown color (signs of proper baking and seasoning). Upon calling the establishment, the cook KNEW before I opened my mouth the mac and cheese was not cooked well, it shocked me. He said it needed cheese . . .it needed Cheese Salt Pepper Milk Egg and longer cooking time. My father deserve a full refund and you guys deserve an honest review. . . RESPECTFULLY

They catered my baby shower in July . Food was delicious. We ordered almost everything in the menu . My favorite were the sliders , Hennessy wings, honey cornbread. Food was portioned very well .

They cater my niece baby shower this past Saturday the 31st of July. I'm allergic to shellfish so I did not eat anything that had shrimp or crab however with that being said I literally put everything else on my plate and everything I put in my mouth was so delicious. They had these jalapeno corn muffins. I just want to eat one every day I'm literally going there today for lunch I have to have it! I did not take a photo because I wasted no time eating.lol

I love coming to this spot!!! I see the owner every time I walk in and she’s always a pleasure to talk to. The food is modern comfort style. The walls are covered in art work from local artist, and they host Friday open mic. This place is full of good food and culture.

I ordered $88 worth of food and was shocked at how underwhelming the food was. I ordered stuffed salmon, the salmon was not stuffed, there was a thin layer of crab meat spread on top. My boyfriend ordered the crab cake entree, the crab cakes were paper thin. The only thing that was decent were the mac and cheese with chicken egg rolls. Very disappointed.
