Alwaysca good meal and wonderful entertainment on the weekends.
I am a regular at Annabella's - the best mozzarella, sandwiches and Italian food emporium!
Where do I even begin! I’d like to start off by highlighting the proprietor Billy, who truly went above and beyond to facilitate a last-minute catering order for my family that was visiting me in Rutherford from Long Island. Billy put together a beautiful charcuterie board and a small flight of roasted vegetables along with some of his amazing fresh mozzarella that he makes in house And some beautiful loaves of bread to go with it. The roasted red peppers were the highlight for everyone it was the best roasted red pepper I have ever had in my life. I don’t know how he gets them like that but holy smokes it was the best. I also really enjoyed the eggplant as well but the cheese was just a total home run. Went great with the peppers on some of that beautiful bread everybody enjoyed and Billy even personally delivered the order straight to my home, which I was forever grateful for. 10 out of 10 recommend checking these guys out if you ever need catering or just looking for a nice dining experience!
Food was terrible. Ordered a steak with a special sauce, when it arrived it was smothered with the sauce and what appeared to be a maple syrup which hide the absolute worst cut of steak ever, pure fat, every bit was grizzle. Didn't complain just wanted to leave but the server saw the meat when picking up the plate and manager refunded the 40 cost. I wouldn't return.
****To add to the response from Annabellas...it was the worst cut of ribeye and you missed the point. The meat was not eaten at all....no complaints were made. Your server came to pickup and saw and mentioned on their own that the meat was a terrible cut and apologized...then your manager came and apologized and said they have discussed with the kitchen the proper way to make to cut. The food was terrible....and we were nice about it.. but to your response there was a reason your restaurants was EMPTY and the right restaurant for us is anyone but yours. Shameful response.
Shrimp scampi was excellent.
The pizza was good, but the cheese kept sliding off and I'm not sure how to explain it... It was not soggy or anything but very moist? Crust was very good.
I would've enjoyed it more if the cheese wasn't sliding off.
Excellent!
Diamond in rough for sure.
Annabella's is like home! Great food, a lively environment, and to-die-for dessert including their in-house cheesecake. and best of all, Billy's warm and inviting presence while he makes fresh mozz!
Been going their for over 10 years. Best around

Outstanding food and service. We ordered an eggplant wrap, NY Cheesecake, Ice Tea (unsweetened), an a Catch a Falling Star salad. Service was quick and food was delicious. Highly recommended. A big full bar with seating and a nice table layout . Italian deli and hot food.

Fantastic as always. Great intimate atmosphere. Great drinks (mozzarella martini & old fashioned with the frozen fruit). Delicious mozzarella. This visit we enjoyed the Chuck wagon and the snapper- would definitely recommend the Chuck wagon made with flank steak.
Thanks to Billy for making our experience supreme by giving us a free concert. We love his business and will continue to support him.

For one of my first postpartum meals, I requested an Italian sub. Annabella’s was close by and it was really the only places that served Italian sammies that was still open, around 7 PM. We ordered the Alyssa’s Dream (salami, ham, mortadella, provolone, lettuce, tomato, onion, oil, and vinegar) and the Capo di Tutti Capi (prosciutto, capicola, sopressata, mozzarella, sun-dried tomatoes, and roasted peppers). I preferred Alyssa’s Dream, even though the oil and vinegar made it a bit soggy. I wasn’t a huge fan of the bread because it was chewier than I would have liked. However, it was a lot less chewy/hard than it looked. I don’t think I’ll be adding this to my go-to list, but it did the trick to satisfy the Italian sammie craving for the time being.
Yummy food!

My girlfriend and I were in the area for a concert this evening. We were stuck in traffic for about 4 hours and starving. We wanted to eat a good meal before the concert as we both are trying to stay away from certain types of food. This was a pleasant surprise. It’s alittle different than your normal place but we had fresh pasta, great sauce and pesto and fantastic homage mozzarella. Good Italian spot if you are in the mood. They sent us to the pink concert well fed.
