Just stopped by and they are closed. Supposed to be open until 7pm. May try again, but accurate hours are important.

LOVE everything I've tried here. The pecan coconut cookie pictured is one of the best I've ever tasted. The ride&shine breakfast sandwich is a must and their orange olive oil cake haunts my dreams until I can have it again. They also have a very good selection of gf baked goods.

I dropped by NYE day for a coffee adventure and was not let down. They don't serve fancy coffee, it's Vermont Organic and it's straight up good coffee. They bake everything in-house and package it themselves for on the go travelers. They have a great variety of baked goods. This visit I had banana crumb cake and took home a s'mores bar and a peanut butter cookie. Everything was delicious. I had a great chat with the owner, he was friendly and informative about his goals. The baking is great and good coffee too!

Super happy to have a bakery nearby that bakes gluten-free from scratch. I'm celiac and have had issues with bakeries not taking care to avoid cross-contamination, and even though the space in Bars and Bites is limited, the head baker is on top of it. Everything they bake in house is then sealed in (compostable, yay!) wrappers to avoid any chance of allergens contaminating food. Plus, the prices are like half what you'd expect to pay for homemade gluten-free baked goods, and about a third of what a dedicated GF bakery charges. I go regularly and have never had any issues with gluten. They also have wifi, gender-neutral restrooms, and compostable to-go coffee cups. Really glad this place opened!

I stopped into Bars and Bites today with my young kids as they wanted a treat, and I was pleased to see that their display case had so many delicious looking options (all homemade) including gluten free and dairy free choices as well. I like that their coffee is organic (I didn't try since I had just had coffee at home!), but my 2 year old devoured her blueberry muffin before I could get a photo of the inside. It was filled with blueberries and had a crumb topping. Her huge grin told me she loved it! I tasted a nibble when she wasn't looking, and it was so fresh and delicious. The owner was a very nice man who was happy to give my girls cups of water and didn't mind the mess of crumbs made as I started to clean up, he said he would do it. I'm so happy to support a nice, local business with organic and gluten free options. We will be back!

Really good coffee, and the baked goods are delicious. Hubby had the Rise and shine sandwich, and of course I had a bite or two. Amazingly delish! We will be back.

If you’ve never had a breakfast sandwich with applewood smoked bacon and a pretzel bun with chipotle aïoli sauce then you haven’t lived! This is called their riseu0026shine breakfast sandwich. Their apple gruyere cheddar pie is also yummy. They’re coconut macaroons are a hit as well. I walked out buying their orange olive oil cake. I can’t wait to try. So many unique treats to try! Definitely worth stopping by. Oh! And they have a HUGE Gf menu to choose from! Not like your usually “one cookie in the corner” from a regular bakery or cafe.

I heard there was a new bakery across from the train station. So I go out looking for it , I went up and down and around the block. I did see the sign 'Bars & Bites' well is that a bar serving tapas not a bakery right ? So I gave up. Came back again the following week after I saw in the local paper new bakery, 'Bars & Bites'. I went this time directly to it and saw I guy with a hat on at the counter with bar stools. I saw two small display cases on top of the counter with pre-wrapped bakery items that they where offering and I was not impressed with that and walked out.
