The restaurant was nice. The food was well, hotel food. However, my daughter got violently ill from their chicken tenders. And this was the first day of our vacation.I can easily pinpoint what caused my daughter to be sick as I saw the food she consumed from dinner. In addition, I have extensive background in public health and foodborne pathogen driven sickness.They bar guests were ridiculously obnoxious but at least the service was good.I would absolutely avoid eating here at all costs unless you want to ruin whatever plans you have for your vacation.

I think we were here on a bad night but the service was slow, the food was cold after we waited almost an hour in an almost empty restaurant. This is not the reason one chooses this hotel. I will say their breakfast selection is much better than dinner service tends to be.

We were a bit unsure about the type of restaurant it was. One staff told us they had a buffet but we saw others with menus. They had both that day. So ask what they have that day because some days it's just the buffet and others it's both. Food was good and atmosphere felt nice (i didnt like the tomatoes on the burger though but thats on me)???
Last weekend we attended a seminar at the Hilton hotel, where Bergen Social is located at. One of the days we decided to have lunch there. It was a big queue, we got a table for two and we got a lunch menu. Up until this part everything worked ok. Only one waiter took orders even though it was packed, and he only took one table at a time - every 5 minutes. Resulting it taking approximately 30 before we could order. After additional 30 minutes we still hadn’t received any food. As the seminar started again, we had to leave without receiving any food. Which is a pity, as the menu seemed tempting as did what we saw on plates on neighbouring tables. Choose somewhere else if it crowded here

Came into town for the Giants/Jets game and stayed at the Hilton. Had an awesome time Saturday and after game Sunday at the Bergen social bar in hotel. Nicole and marlon were amazing bartenders. Super personable. Funny. And outgoing. Try the quesadillas. They were ???

Came into town for the Giants/Jets game (horrible) with a bunch of friends and stayed at the Hilton meadowlands. We had so much fun at the bar in the hotel. Had a late lunch and drinks Saturday and late night drinks. Then after the game we closed the place down. Shout out to two amazing bartenders, Nicole and Marlon. They were awesome to hang with and joke around with. I dare you to throw a movie reference out that Nicole doesn’t get in 3 seconds or less lol. Just watch your sopranos references. ?. Definitely would recommend this place. Get the quesadillas also! Best ever.

Average hotel food. Eat before you get here!I have to say I was disappointed with the this hotel. Usually I get great local flair when staying at Hilton hotels. Bergen Burger came plain. . .be sure to ask for mayo and ketchup. Burger was had great grill taste but wasn't cooked to the requested temp. Fries were not crispy. Cheesecake was the highlight! Hotel site says they only process to go orders. I was surprised when I went to pickup and saw people actually seated and eating.
Love this little bar inside! The service is quick at the bar and I really enjoyed this Cabernet (Sonoma) red wine they had. Great price and definitely the best ambiance in the hotel! Really nice little bar on the main floor.

The Angus burger is very good. I would recommend it wholy. Unfortunately, only bottled beer, but it's a decent selection. Atmosphere is what you'd expect for a hotel restaurant and is definitely in line with what you would want. Food menu isn't huge either, but had the typical favorites and I think nearly everyone will find something they like. I would absolutely recommend it if staying there, far better than the few other hotel restaurants still out there
