This used to be a great restaurant decades ago. It actually was my first restaurant that I visited in America. The spirit and atmosphere was phenomenal. It was so cozy, fun and unique. Now it looks more like a polished Burger King with a touch of American wokeness. The bar attendant was sick with some virus and kept coughing on everyone.

Amazing service, food and drinks done right šš½. We went around 8pm on a Thursday night, there were 2 other parties of 3 people waiting when we walked in. We were seated promptly and served quickly.

Was with large groups on a Sunday for dinner. Took 12 spots at the bar and some of group took couple tables of 4. All was handle well. My personal experience was at the bar. Bar tenders did a great job. Food was good and service was great. They were already kinda busy so my large group put it over the top. My personal per person price is on higher side because it was dinner and drinks at the bar. Was in town for a convention nearby, so likely to return next time in town.

I placed a call-in order at the Chiliās in East Rutherford and had such a great experience that I had to leave a review ā especially to highlight Joe, the manager, who truly went above and beyond.
From the moment I called, Joe was incredibly professional, kind, and attentive. He made sure my order was taken accurately and even double-checked everything to ensure it was perfect before pickup. When I arrived, he greeted me personally, walked me through the order, and made sure I had everything I needed ā utensils, sauces, napkins ā all without me even having to ask.
You donāt always expect that level of care with a to-go order, but Joe delivered service like I was dining in. His attention to detail and genuine customer care stood out and really made my day easier. Thank you, Joe, for going the extra mile ā it didnāt go unnoticed!

Do Not visit this Chilis restaurant. The food and service are HORRIBLE! Upon arriving we were told that there was a 25 minute wait, it ended up being a 35-40 min wait. Once setted, the waiter took our order of appetizers immediately, but did not come back for our main course order for almost 30 minutes. He took orders of customers that were setted after us, before ours. When he finally did take our order, he messed up 3 of the 4 orders at our table. I ordered the 6oz steak meal (medium well) with a side salad and a side of street corn. They brought me a burnt piece of meat, an ear of corn, and salad. No side on my plate. Not what I ordered. My husband ordered the double old timer burger, they left out an entire burger patty, but charged us for the double. My daughter ordered the regular old timer burger with a side of Mac and cheese, they left out her Mac and cheese. When we told the waiter about the error in our order, he took my husband's plate and brought him back the correct burger but with cold fries. He never took my plate, just let sit on the table getting cold while he went back to get the sides that are supposed to come with the meal. By the time he brought the missing items out, everything else was cold. This was my babies Birthday Dinner (I wanted to order her dessert and have them sing happy birthday to her) but it was ruined. The meal and the service was (in my opinion) NOT GOOD! We paid well over $100 for this dreadful experience. SMH! I will never ever spend my money in this Chilis restaurant again! They need to RE-TRAIN their entire wait staff.
