I have been passing by this small restaurant for the past 4 years and wanting to try it out. Finally I went and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised that the small restaurant, which doesn’t look like much from the outside has amazing Mediterranean Turkish food. I was very impressed. Everything was fresh And delicious. This is definitely gem in the ruff . The restaurant is very welcoming and comfi . It’s a family business, and Adam was very helpful and pleasant as a waiter and he told me that his family owns the business. They take a lot of pride in the food that they serve. Also the price for what I paid for lunch was a great deal I got a Shepherds salad. Chicken kebab with rice, and another grain called Bulgar. they also gave me on the house a Turkish custard, which was very delicious. The lunch also comes with a soda. This is a must try hotspot, especially for lunch. I will definitely be back to eat the delicious Turkish food.

The place inside has a great ambiance, very classy with turkish vibrant decor. Ordered lamb shish kebab, tasted well, paired well with the Jalepeno and the white sauce, but tiny bit dry. The red lentil soup was smooth, wish though had a bit of spice, bit on the safe, bland side. The tiramisu was so great, ordered two more to go, tasted deliciously fresh!?Overall, bit small portion of entrées for the price. However, did not disappoint ? If ever in the area, would definitely come again! ?

Delicious adana and kofte kebab! I have tried the 4 other kebab places in the Rutherford area, and this one seems the best! Highly recommend!

A few weeks ago I ordered a couple of different things to trek to Queens for a small family gathering. I was really grateful at their patience and accommodating my questions and putting together an order for pick up. They also helped me carry the order to my car which definitely goes above and beyond any expectation. I love this place. Thank you.

The food here is always so fresh. There a liquor store next door. I usually buy some wine and enjoy it with my meal. I love the falafel platter, hummus, lentil soup and the spicey vegetables. ?? If you are in the area definitely give them a try.

Shish kebab lunch is a good deal. Only gripe is the lentil soup has no flavor at all. Next time I'll go with the salad.

Stopped by here for lunch and had a great experience. Tried the chicken adana and it was very flavorful. Also tried the zucchini pancakes and very tasty. Turkish coffee came with a turkish delight and absolute perfection. Casual cafe type ambiance and service was good. They have 10% discount if you pay with cash. Prices are very reasonable( almost like pre inflation prices). Definitely try this ,if you are in the area.

We've been coming here weekly for lunch for a while. Staff is great, very attentive, unobtrusive, and no mistakes in orders. Food is great and comes out pretty fast. Lately I have been getting the kofte platter with red lentil soup, but I've also tried the falafel, gyro, lamb shish, and shepherd salad. Everything is fresh and tasty. Prices are still very reasonable. For the quality, this is one of my top picks anywhere right now.The ambience is pretty basic, but fine. There is always some Turkish music and/or Turkish shows or movies playing on a TV in the back at low volume. I like the gourd lamps and some of the super huge landscape photos. Everything is always very clean, including the restroom, which gives me more confidence about the kitchen. Seating for large groups is available in the front close to the windows. Otherwise it's all 2-top and 4-top tables along the walls, because the shape of the dining room is long and narrow. It's cozy, but not cramped.Overall no complaints. Highly recommended!Kid-friendliness: The staff has been very patient and friendly with our 3 y.o., allowed her to swap center pieces on the tables so we could have the purple flowers, and sometimes given her extra treats after our meal.
