Just ordered from the one in Jersey on Route 17. Absolutely a waste of money. I had some when I was in Orlando and they were amazing. Sauce was great, crispy wings. So I got back to Jersey and wanted them again and let’s just say they are not made equal. Highly disappointed and got a refund because they were outstandingly horrible. No sauce on one order, the other order was mushy, with no seasoning. Tasted like regular baked chicken .

Took the whole family to celebrate my father-in-laws favorite place to get hotdogs. The service was excellent. Our waitress took care of all our need and the bartender came out from behind the bar to take our picture at the end of the meal. The hotdogs are excellent and twelve of us ate for $150.00 including tip. Can't beat that these days.

Legendary dogs! This is a world famous location. Known for the rippers. The dogs and their mustard relish is the best in the USA.

My husband’s grandfather used to go to Rutt’s Hut. We were so excited to find it next to Lynhurst as we look at the old family houses. Rutt’s Hutt has some of the most delicious food. The dogs are fantastic! That is their specialty. Whether you have a hamburger or hotdog, try their relish that sits on the table. Yum! The whole look inside is original as far as I know. Fun fun fun.

Won't order from here again. Hardly any buffalo sauce to the point my daughter asked if I selected buffalo, AND undercooked, as in on the brink of raw, so much so I had to throw them in our air fryer for fear of salmonella.

Amazing hot dogs they are called “Rippers” here. The hot dog ? platter comes with potato salad and cole slaw and tomatoe slices pepper and cucumbers slices . Its 2 hot dogs which was enough for me .The chili is homemade here and it is very good chili I must say. I love putting it on my hot dogs with a little ketchup. Service was good .This place is almost 100 years old been since 1928 so 95 years old so they must be doing something right. I have been coming here since I was a kid with my family so it brings back lots of good memories and lots of meals I had here over the years .They have a bar but it is a family place dining room and tables by the bar too and also you can sit at the bar. They have other food besides Hotdogs and in the years I have come here all the food has been top of the line and cooked perfectly. I highly recommend this restaurant for family friends gatherings or even alone just to grab a bite a beer or whatever you desire to eat . Best Hot Dog ever. Stopped on my way from North Carolina to Conn. My brother will not let me come to his house with out 6 rippers and plenty of relish. Drove 10 hours to get there.

It's a nice place to go for a hot dog they have good hot dogs problem is if you want sauerkraut and hot dog which most people do they charge you some ridiculous price like 250 I went inside for the first time to sit down with my wife and my child almost got up and walked out when they told me that I would have to pay a dollar for a bottle of water can you imagine I paid the dollar I eat decent food nothing at all brag about the hot dogs are very good for sure but nothing at all to brag about and never go back inside cuz I'm certainly not going to pay for water I don't mind paying for a good meal but I am not going to pay for water average place known for a top dogs leave it at that

Pretty good dogs with really excellent mustard relish. I liked them a lot, however I prefer Hanks Franks dogs. I also like a smile with my service, which I get in Hanks. All you get with your Rutts dogs is a ‘tude!

A roadhouse so if you want schmancy, go elsewhere. Known as a place from Dinners, Drive ins, and Dives and their ripper hot dogs. My brother went and was disappointed saying it's just another dog. BUT is important to have the mustard relish it. And you will begin to crave them. You can get a whole dinner with everything for $15 but its from frozen so stick with the chili, fries, onion rings. The $3.50 burger is little but ask to have the meat dipped in gravy. Don't know where they get the Cole slaw but it's great. Inexpensive to drink there and the roadside ambiance hasn't changed much since it was established in 1928. If you prefer soda pop, get the birch beer on tap.

Home of the Ripper ! Ordered only one and plied on the mustard and relish. Simply fantastic ! The relish is unique. Also ordered 2 pints of chili - one with beans and one without. Definitely will be back and maybe dine in the dining area.

Best Hot Dog and relish I’ve ever had. This place is tucked along the highway in Clifton. It has a pretty big menu but the star is obviously the ripper dogs. Fried to perfection with delicious homemade relish. I had the chili too which was great. Old school. Love it

I go back to 1979. Just turned 18! Me and some Passaic guys would sit at the Bar, with Perry the bartender, and watch the New York Rangers Playoff games. Big Rangers Fans at the Hutt. Rippers and 50cent Draft Beer in a small mug. Great times. God bless the family. Good memories
