It was my mom's birthday and she loved it which is all that matters. The hostess was great and welcoming, the server was thorough and helpful, and the food was even better. Try the Milhojas De Fresa if you get the chance, you won't regret it.
Food was mediocre especially for the price. Beautiful restaurant, great staff but food was not up to par with the ambiance. I've had Peruvian food many times from great restaurants to small local spots and they are so much better than Jarna.
La comida estuvo deliciosa pero los precios son muy altos y las porciones demasiado pequeñas.
Recent changes to menu were not the best choice Servers try to be their best but something doesn't feel right I've been here before and noticed the different energy Some items on the menu felt a bit overpriced
Such a great experience! Good food, good drinks and very good portions. We did the family style prefix menu and honestly recommended for large groups
Jarana is an excellent location to experience South American cuisine that's both delicious and decently priced. We took our in laws for his birthday and he enjoyed. So, is a must visit and go back spot.
Every dish was extremely salty and almost inedible. I had to drink a lot of water.
At the beginning, the server tried to seat us at a very crowded table, but when we asked for a more spacious spot, she told us all of them were reserved and we couldn’t sit there. However, that entire row stayed empty the whole time we were dining until we left, nobody shows up!
The service was very poor, we constantly had to look for the staff. Definitely not coming back. Overpriced and not worth it.

Been here twice and both times the food did not disappoint. The ceviche is fresh, croquetas delicious, octopus cooked perfectly, and pork belly sliders are a must.

We had a wonderful experience at the Chef Collab Series with Jarana & Artesano. Our waitress Stefany took excellent care of us—she was kind, knowledgeable, and made sure we enjoyed every part of the evening. We also appreciated the Executive Chef Jesús Delgado stopped by to check in and ensure everything was perfect. Food and drinks were great. Thank you, Stefany and Jesús! We highly recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy delicious food and a fantastic atmosphere.

I booked this reservation to treat my in-laws (who are Peruvian) after a year of helping us raise our first daughter. Because it was a special dinner featuring two acclaimed Peruvian chefs, I expected the restaurant to go all out. From my understanding, the chefs would be presenting their best dishes course by course and sharing a bit about the inspiration behind them. I imagined an immersive and thoughtful experience, but what we got was very different. The first red flag was the music, which was uncomfortably loud. Normally I do not mind, but for an event of this caliber it felt out of place. I had pictured a more intimate atmosphere. I purchased one drink package for my father-in-law, yet we were greeted with four drinks and no real explanation. Before the meal even began, our server repeatedly pressured my partner to buy another package. We declined in both Spanish and English several times, but the pressure continued. The overall attitude of our server felt dismissive, as if serving us was a burden. Service was also slow. When we asked for bread for the baby it took far too long to arrive and the pacing of the courses was uneven for a pre-set menu. While the food itself was very good—I was impressed, though not surprised given past positive visits—the rest of the experience fell flat. I have worked in hospitality, so I understand how many moving pieces there are during a busy service. But since this was a pre-set menu and given the price, I expected a smoother and more polished experience. I wish Jarana success, but I would not attend another event. When hosting a dinner with two celebrated chefs, the service should be polished, attentive and responsive to the room. Without those elements, what should have been a special evening ended up feeling disappointing, despite the quality of the food.
This place came highly recommended by a Peruvian friend, and she was absolutely right—the food and service were both amazing. We started with the trio of ceviches, which was a fantastic beginning. For our main courses, we had the Lomo Saltado and the Anticucho de Pulpo. The beef in the Lomo Saltado was incredibly juicy and flavorful, just like the kind I remember from back home. The octopus was also cooked perfectly. The only slight disappointment was the dessert; I don't remember the name, but it was a bit dry. I would suggest adding a scoop of vanilla ice cream to it. Overall, the food, atmosphere, and service were great. While it was a bit pricey, it was definitely worth it.
