Little Sheep Hot Pot at American Dream is a must-try! Their broths are flavorful, the ingredients fresh, and the Wagyu is amazing. I stopped by American Dream on the way to see the fall foliage and couldn’t believe my eyes — Little Sheep Hot Pot just opened here! I used to love this place back in China — my parents and I would go every time I was home. Never thought I’d see it in New Jersey!

The restaurant is absolutely beautiful — probably one of the most elegant and spacious hot pot spots I’ve ever been to. It’s super clean, with a well-organized sauce bar and comfortable seating. I love the modern decor

They offer both large shared pots and individual mini pots. We chose chicken broth and tomato broth — both were rich and flavorful.

For meats, we ordered their classic lamb slices, which came in generous portions and tasted exactly like how I remember from China — fresh, tender, and full of flavor.

Since it’s their grand opening, we got a free beef platter with our Wagyu slices . The Wagyu was amazing — just a few seconds in the pot and it melted in the mouth. So good!

The beef tongue was another favorite — tender with the perfect chew, definitely recommend trying it.

We also got the lamb skewers, which were perfectly seasoned and juicy. Having both hot pot and grilled meat made me feel like I was right back home.

Found the new Little Sheep Hot Pot at American Dream—really nice environment, one of the best hot pot spots I’ve been to around NY/NJ. Good for a date or just relaxing after shopping. Loved the Tea & Biscuit cocktail, and the wagyu deal with free beef was a great value. Skewers like lamb and chicken wings were also tasty. Will definitely be back!

Amazing hot pot experience inside American Dream! The restaurant is clean, elegant, and the service is super friendly. Loved the wagyu beef — and they even gave us a free plate of fatty beef! Great value, delicious food, and perfect location to enjoy a meal before or after shopping. Highly recommend!

My girlfriend and her friends went there for birthday. Dish looks pretty but very expensive. Not worth it at all. Lots of frozen food and vegetables. This brand used to be known as affordable and reasonable price, now it’s turning into a flashy restaurant.

We had such an amazing experience at Little Sheep Hot Pot! The food was absolutely incredible—fresh, flavorful, and so fun to enjoy together. We loved curating our soup and cooking the meats and vegetables ourselves at the table—it made the meal interactive and memorable. We had the waygu bites, lamb, tiger shrimp, vermicelli noodles, and more!

Chris, our server, was outstanding—professional, attentive, and spot-on with his suggestions. He catered to our every need and made the meal feel extra special.

We were celebrating my son’s 17th birthday, and it turned out to be the perfect place for families. Everyone had a great time, and we felt so well taken care of. Highly recommend this spot for both the food and the service—it made our celebration unforgettable!

The foods is really good tomato soup base is my favorite for choosing this soup you don’t need any sauce of it you can cook meats inside and eat directly! And service are very friendly they always asked if you need more water or add soup on time. Definitely come back again! HIGHLY RECOMMENED!!!

Server was nice. Drinks didn’t come out until we were mostly finished our meal. She did comp them for us because it was really bad how long it took.

Every course was awful (we didn’t even eat the food for the most part). We grabbed the check and bailed immediately.

Might have been an off night for the place but it was terrible.

Just a little warning for service. I bet the food is great and it definitely looks great, it’s just the server we had did not really treat us the best. Spoke in a bit of a rude tone and seemed a bit mad ? It was our first time at hotpot, so we were kinda unfamiliar. He explained what it was, then proceeded to say “if this is not what you’re looking for, you should leave” or something similar, in a rude tone. I truly didn’t wanna stay if someone was going to treat us like that. I could’ve misunderstood and maybe he wasn’t mad? But it felt like he was and didn’t really treat us well. This is coming from a person who comes from a restaurant family business and I am 100% aware this is not the way you should treat your customers😅Overall, the food looks great, the service is a little eh but very fancy! I recommend if you like hotpot!

Gina was a great server. She was very knowledgeable about the culture of hot pot and the menu items. Great service ;the manager wants to ensure you have a great experience. I will be back for more hot pot,especially, the lamb it was so tasty !
