Very nice experience here. I do takeout a lot and was impressed by how nice the staff are, specifically Brendal. I was sitting down and he personally brought me my food which I’m not used to ever while getting takeout. I come here 2-3 nights a week to get food because it’s delicious.

I love Mamouns in the city and was really excited to get my fix here in NJ but the overall food flavor left much to be desired. I got the shawarma sandwich, falafel side, and the fries. The falafels were great. Crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. The fries were well cooked and the dips were tasty. However the lamb in the shawarma sandwich was sorely lacking flavor and was a bit tough.

The location is big and the inside is nice and sterile. Very corporate looking. Not a bad thing just not all that unique and special.

Prices were decent. I’m not going out of my way to go back but it was a solid meal if you’re in the area.

We are Vegetarians and ordered Falafal platter. The taste was good. The staff is super friendly and patient in explaining you the options. Next time would try the falafal sandwitch.

I’m confused how mamouns doesn’t put everyone out of business in that strip mall. You have to be an idiot to want to eat anywhere else. Shawarma is gods gift, service is on point, and the place is cleaner than a sterile needle. Bless the founder.

Mamoun's Falafel is a gem in the heart of the city, offering an authentic and delightful Middle Eastern dining experience. The falafel, their signature dish, is perfectly crispy on the outside and wonderfully flavorful on the inside, making it a must-try for both newcomers and regulars alike. Their menu is diverse, featuring a variety of traditional dishes like shawarma, hummus, and baba ghanoush, each prepared with fresh ingredients and an abundance of love and care.

The atmosphere at Mamoun's is warm and welcoming, with friendly staff who are always eager to provide recommendations and ensure you have an enjoyable meal. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained, with a cozy interior that adds to the overall charm.

One standout feature is their generous portion sizes, ensuring you leave with a satisfied appetite. Despite the high quality of food, the prices are very reasonable, making it an excellent value for the money.

However, Mamoun's can get quite busy during peak hours, which can lead to longer wait times. This is a minor inconvenience when weighed against the overall experience.

In summary, Mamoun's Falafel offers a delicious and authentic taste of the Middle East, making it a top choice for anyone craving flavorful and hearty cuisine.

I've been coming here a year. The baklava, chicken shawarma, and falafel are great. The lamb shawarma sandwich could be better. The lamb tasted dry and tough.

So glad this location is closer to my house. My love for this place has grown over the years from decades ago when I first tried them at their village location in Manhattan. It’s something special about this place. Their classic falafel still beats a lot of places. Till this day the best falafels I’ve had is Mamoun’s and Nick the Greek in Atlantic beach Florida which originally came from Brooklyn.
