Really? Eighty percent of it is plain rice. I actually thought maybe if i dug thru it maybe the fish was buried somewhere— but no, it’s just a rice pit.
This is actually so sad and mind boggling. Those eleven scraps together make about one bite of sushi. Whoever made this should be ashamed. Calling this a poke bowl is straight-up fraud. Even a troglodyte can tell this is a scam.

Ordered a poke starter on ubereats with a 2 for 1 deal. There was no fish in both the bowls... Do not order from here expecting fish in your poke starter at all. Quite frustrating to order poke bowls without any fish.

I come to this spot at least once a week. I wish more people knew about this place. It’s such a hidden gem and the food is amazing. I recently got obsessed with Poké bowls out of nowhere and was looking for a place in New Jersey that did them and I found this one Rutherford. The owner is super nice and hands-on and is always trying to make that atmosphere feel super welcoming. They also have some really cool snack snacks and drink drinks here other than the Poké bowls definitely would recommend.

Order placed on Uber eats. When I drove there to pick my order up, they were closed. The owners were in the taco store next door. They said the poke shop was closed. I explained I drove over after placing the order online and the order being accepted. They just repeated it’s closed, no apology or anything. It’s the same owner. There was another person waiting for their order also. A minute later, the person working went next door to cancel my order in their computer. Wasted 30 minutes of waiting for the order and another 15 driving. Disgusting business practices and couldn’t even apologize.
In response to the owners reply - it’s not about Uber eats not charging me. I waited 30 minutes for the order, drove over to pick it up, so wasted 45 minutes on food no one intended to make.
Secondly, if the nonchalant employee at the taco shop next door was able to go in and cancel my order, she could have also gone in and turned off Uber eats so you couldn’t accept orders in the first place.
Lastly, a little bit of customer service goes a long way. It was as if I was wasting their time by them having to explain to me that they are closed and too bad. That’s not how to run a business.
Second update - I did give y’all a second chance, like you asked in the reply, and the same exact thing happened. Order placed online. Arrive 30 minutes later, and you are closed lol. Ironic huh
