I normally don’t write reviews but this place deserves a nod. To start, we were with some out of town friends who were impressed with the valet parking. Walking in, the staff were super friendly and seemed to enjoy what they do. We sat in their dining nook which is really private, feels like you have the place to yourself. I have always judged a place based on their scampi, and this is what lead me to write this review. Without question, the best plate, period. Annnnddd that’s even after I had to pick out the mushrooms!!?!!! The deserts were great, too.After dinner cocktails in a dimly lit parlor… ha! We’ll be back.

Tried this venue out for happy hour/ friends to meet up for my birthday. It was very cute. The staff are amazing. The service was elite. The drinks were delicious. Everyone enjoyed themselves. I will definitely be back!

Easter Sunday brunch 2024 with family of 6. We were greeted by some of the staff members who treated us like family. We ordered from both the Easter and regular menu's which you never see. The service and food was amazing.Kid-friendliness: We had a a young teenager.

Whole place was really nice but that speakeasy was absolutely the best from the book case door to the decorations and of course the drinks. The bartender Brian is an awesome addition to that room.

The food and atmosphere were very good. I liked how there were various sections of the restaurant, with the bar up front and the dining room in the back, and a speakeasy downstairs for events (which I also was here for in addition to dinner). I was a party of one with reservations, and I was seated in the corner of the dining room, which was ok until a party of six was seated right next to me, while the other tables of two were seated reasonably far apart. That may have been a coincidence though. I'm not sure if I would come back alone just for dinner, but if you're a party of two or more, I would recommend the Roosevelt. The staff was very friendly, even though I was tucked away in the corner for dinner ?

This was our first time at this restaurant and we were excited to try it. We arrived for our 6:45pm reservation and the valet told us the lot was filled up so the night did not begin well. They advertise that they have valet parking on the weekends in a tough to park area but they clearly do not have ample space. The atmosphere was awful in the dining room, very industrial. Nothing like the way it looked on the website. We started with a bottle of wine. The waitress was not trained on how to present wine to diners but it was not her fault. Our appetizer of spicy tuna was awful. Did not taste like tuna at all - more like sun dried tomatoes. The staff was kind and removed the appetizer from our bill. The angnolotti pasta stuffed with short ribs was mediocre at best. Nothing like 2 other establishments where we always enjoy it. The best part of the meal was dessert. We were very disappointed in our experience on the whole. The bar area seemed inviting on the way out. I may go back with a friend to have drinks and maybe apps in that area. But I know my husband and I will never return for dinner. Too many amazing restaurants in NJ to be served food that is below expectations. I would question the validity of the positive reviews.

I threw a 30th surprise party in the speakeasy and it was absolutely amazing!! Guests were raving about the place, food, cocktails, and service. The staff were attentive and made the experience outstanding. Definitely recommend having an event here!!

Great food, phenomenal service and awesome atmosphere! We had a great date night! The speakeasy was super fun at the end of our dinner. During the weekend they offer valet parking which was definitely a plus as the parking is challenging in East Rutherford. Will definitely return and recommend!
Great place for some really good drinks and food ! The old fashioned is definitely worth a try as well as numerous options on the menu !!! Definitely worth trying if you are in the area !!!!

My husband and I finally tried this place and we will definitely go back! They have a great menu. Normally I would never see or even order pork chop but I gave it a shot and it was the most delicious, juicy pork chop I've ever had! The gin sangria I ordered and old fashioned my husband ordered were perfectly made. Our server Kenny was pleasant, prompt and attentive. After dinner we went to the bar. The atmosphere is really nice. Highly recommend.

This was my first time coming to this restaurant. I made a reservation with Ale for my mom’s birthday. Ale was so sweet and made us feel at home as soon as we walked in and made all the accommodations necessary for me and my guests. Our server was Erin. She was the absolute sweetest. An amazing server that definitely went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. She helped slice my mom’s cake and her and Ale and the staff sung happy birthday. I definitely will be bringing my family here again. The food and service were amazing. One of the best experiences I’ve had at any restaurant.
