I had the Dosa Grill cater my housewarming pooja, they exceeded all of my expectations and delivered great food. All of my guests enjoyed the food, the food was fresh, non-greasy, and delectable. They customized the spice level per our request. All in all, the Dosa Grill supplied us with fabulous food and I would definitely have them cater again.

Review for Dosa Grill - East Windsor
Dosa Grill in East Windsor is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic South Indian flavors! Their dosas are perfectly crispy, the chutneys and sambar are full of flavor, and the overall quality of food is top-notch.
One dish that absolutely stands out is their Chilli Parota—it’s simply amazing! The flavors are bold, the texture is just right, and the spice level is perfect for those who enjoy a bit of heat. It’s a must-try for anyone visiting.
A big shoutout to Deeraj, the place manager, for his exceptional hospitality. He ensures that every guest has a great experience, making the service just as impressive as the food.
Highly recommend Dosa Grill for an authentic and delicious South Indian meal!

Mediocre food, pretty disappointing. South Indian restaurants are known to serve fresh food, nothing tasted fresh, I saw the server take containers of sambar from the fridge. And btw, putting some garlic in salsa doesn’t make tomato chutney. Saw plenty of cans of tomatoes on my way to the restroom to make “tomato chutney”

We came here for the weekly Dosa Night that the restaurant has. It ended up being pretty packed as the night went on - Dosa Night is very popular here, and I can see why. Lots of food for a set price, the dosa is crispy and thin but not burnt, and the sambar is delicious, as is the mango lassi. My family loved the appetizers/sides, and I adored my dosa. It's all for a great price, too.
The decor is very nice, with the chairs appearing to be made from a pale wood and the tables being a deep mahogany-like color. The walls are white, and the lighting is neutral, with some paintings on the wall. It's very classy-looking, but still lends itself to a casual atmosphere, great for a wide range of occasions, from bringing family to friends or even a date.
The food comes out quickly and we never felt rushed to get through our dinner, despite how busy the restaurant was. I couldn't ask for better.

This restaurant used to be a reasonable one, before. But, last time when I went with my family , they were serving only buffet, and charged $26 per person. It is not top notch food or ambiance, but they are the most expensive in East Windsor now

Tamarind rice, $13...phew .. We get it for free in almost all temples in New Jersey, home made.
My question to the owner, does it really cost that much to make tamarind rice. Be fair, and don't be greedy, and use inflation as an excuse to rip off the customers.

Amazing delicious food in a hidden gem. It doesn’t look like much from the outside but I had the best dosa I’ve ever had here. So so good. I wish it were closer as we just stopped through on our way up through Jersey.
