“Stopped by Playa Bowls last week while on vacation and had a really good experience. The staff was super welcoming, especially one girl who said she had just started; she had such a great attitude. Everyone was kind, and the atmosphere felt really positive. I also liked that they customize the bowls to your liking. Honestly, I’d come back just for the friendly staff & ownership alone.”

“I’m from Brooklyn where the bagels are world known to be the Best. But that being said, the name gives you an idea how wonderful these bagels are. Stopped in for a quick bite after dog training class for my “ENZO “. I got myself a garlic bagel, tuna and onion toasted. I was truly blown away , brought me back home. If you want the best bagel I have found in NJ, this is it. I highly recommend!!!! The owner and staff are super friendly and people pleasers. Now every week after training this is my go to.”

“Did not have a good experience with some employees advertising their opening and spoke with the manager about it - he was very polite and made sure to let me know that he would make sure this issue did not happen again. So good management.

I came in with my brother as he had been here before and spoke highly of the cafe, and I wanted to give it a try as it was a new place. There are plenty of selections on the menu aside from just smoothies (I actually had a hard time finding the smoothies, I may have to come back for the other stuff.. 😅), and the prices are reasonable - in the same range as Playa Bowls or less with more options for additions.

The cafe looks very clean and well-managed. My brother ordered the mango monsoon smoothie and I ordered a dragon tropical dragon passion smoothie with added whey protein. I usually find that with protein in smoothies, the chalkiness of the protein overtakes the flavor, but that was not the case with this smoothie.

I did not get a good look at the architecture or decorations, but there was room to sit and eat and there was a family comfortable dining there.

Overall, I am glad I gave Tropical Smoothie Cafe a shot and I will be back if I am in the area. I know my brother will definitely be a repeat customer.”

“Great experience. We wanted something different than what is offered at rest stops off of 95. This place popped up and we decided to try it out! The guy behind the counter was very friendly and the food was excellent. We got a Chicken Cesar Wrap and a Club Sandwich. They hit the spot! This place really is a “One stop shop”. We forgot to take a picture of the food because we were so hungry. If we are ever traveling this way again, we’ll definitely be back!”

I was fed up with the greedy price gouging for sub par food by all of my local establishments, in the name of inflation, when a friend recommended CSBG. And they don’t pass along the cc fee!”

“❤ Unfamiliar with the local restaurant scene, we stumbled upon this gem while exploring area garden centers about an hour away from our home and the experience went well beyond our, IMO, high standards. You'll never find us pulling into a fast food place. We love Indian cuisine (check) and vegetarian is quite fine with us (check); but if you like Indian food, this is the place to try vegetarian. The food was exquisite to the eye, nose and taste buds. The meat was not missed whatsoever because the taste was there. We could have been in India, as far as we were concerned. I hope this review drives you to this special spot.”
