“It was our honor and privilege to be a part of a dear friend's B'day Bash last Sunday at Kochi. Dining at Kochi was one of the, if not THE, most memorable experience ever. We were totally floored by the exquisite food - and service - provided by Chef and Owner Mr. Jebu Matthew and his team. From the cool berry drink and amazing classic South Indian appetizers, to the numerous - and for us, many new - items that kept appearing in front of us almost magically during the main meal, served in the traditional South Indian style (on banana leaves), right through the delectable halwa and delicious jaggery rice payasam (desserts), we could feel the love and careful attention with which each item was prepared and pride with which each item was served. Plus, being served by Mr. Matthew himself was, in and of itself, humbling. He patiently explained the intricacies of each delicacy which helped us understand the complexity of the cuisine's varied flavors. To be actually seated (for hours) and served at the table greatly enhanced the culinary experience. We have rarely, if ever, felt that we have consumed a feast - but now, can proudly say so - because of Mr. Matthew and our experience at Kochi. This one-of-a-kind mesmerizing event will remain etched as an indelible lifelong memory. Thank you so much - for making this magic happen. Wish Mr. Matthew only the very best in all his endeavors ! “My sister and brother-in-law, who live in Jersey, stopped me at Morgan's before we hit the turnpike to take me home to Delaware. Wow, I was so impressed by the flavor and the portion size. Honestly, they have the best curry goat and oxtails I have ever had; and the seasonings are perfect. I will be going here every time I come to Jersey, and that's a promise. You have to go there!”

The fire pit wasn’t going but when they do it’s so wonderful.

“I can't recommend Fernandos highly enough! What a great. unassuming spot in Hightstown! We've been here dozens of times and have never had a bad meal. The prices are great, and the food is as consistent as any place I've ever been to. A true gem!”

He's so welcoming and inviting and he has great energy. You're sure to have a great mean and great interactions at this establishment!!!”

Go for the incredibly unique and delicious pies, sandwiches, galettes, cookies, cakes, etc. and stay for the equally as amazing hospitality and service. The staff here feels like family and goes out of their way to ensure every Friday is as amazing as our first visit! Our family loves the excitement of waiting for the menu to come out every Thursday to see what new creation they’ve come up with and what delicious classics will be available.”
