“It was our honor and privilege to be a part of a dear friend's B'day Bash last Sunday at Kochi. Dining at Kochi was one of the, if not THE, most memorable experience ever. We were totally floored by the exquisite food - and service - provided by Chef and Owner Mr. Jebu Matthew and his team. From the cool berry drink and amazing classic South Indian appetizers, to the numerous - and for us, many new - items that kept appearing in front of us almost magically during the main meal, served in the traditional South Indian style (on banana leaves), right through the delectable halwa and delicious jaggery rice payasam (desserts), we could feel the love and careful attention with which each item was prepared and pride with which each item was served. Plus, being served by Mr. Matthew himself was, in and of itself, humbling. He patiently explained the intricacies of each delicacy which helped us understand the complexity of the cuisine's varied flavors. To be actually seated (for hours) and served at the table greatly enhanced the culinary experience. We have rarely, if ever, felt that we have consumed a feast - but now, can proudly say so - because of Mr. Matthew and our experience at Kochi. This one-of-a-kind mesmerizing event will remain etched as an indelible lifelong memory. Thank you so much - for making this magic happen. Wish Mr. Matthew only the very best in all his endeavors ! “My sister and brother-in-law, who live in Jersey, stopped me at Morgan's before we hit the turnpike to take me home to Delaware. Wow, I was so impressed by the flavor and the portion size. Honestly, they have the best curry goat and oxtails I have ever had; and the seasonings are perfect. I will be going here every time I come to Jersey, and that's a promise. You have to go there!”

“We stopped here after supper while on a work trip out of town. Everyone was really kind and amiable! We got to know the beer maker, and he's a really pleasant man. The beer was excellent on its own. The brewery had a very laid-back atmosphere. They have a lovely outdoor space with fire pits for sitting. I strongly advise you to visit if you're in the region and enjoy beer.”

“Wound up here by accident and are so glad we did!! The bartender Rick I believe was Super friendly and helped with food recommendations. Food was Excellent! Most being homemade. We had the drunken Grandma pizza, crust was light & crispy with a delicious sauce and the Brisket sandwich on homemade bread with AuJus dip was tender and great portion size. We will definitely return!!”

“I mostly get take out and order the same thing. I want to try eveything but I love the fried Porgy fish with rice and beans with salad and plaintains. The owner Rudy is great!!! He's so welcoming and inviting and he has great energy. You're sure to have a great mean and great interactions at this establishment!!!”

“I don’t think that there is another place in the US where you could get such delicious pies. These pies are world-class and the chef clearly is creating masterpieces with the blends of flavors that are achieved. Some of the flavors sampled include Thai tea custard, citrus raspberry chess, honey walnut, and pineapple coconut lime. Fantastic!”
