“I've only been here twice, but both times it was great. 1st time I got their handcut/breaded chicken strips that were phenomenal with their suicide sauce. And the second time I got a pizza with chorizo, ricotta and honey and that was awesome as well.
Servers are very nice, bartender was cool as hell. Good conversations with the other patrons.

Throughout the meal, Krista checked in regularly without being intrusive, making sure our drinks were always topped up and that we were enjoying our food. Her friendly and positive attitude made our dining experience even more enjoyable. It's clear that Krista genuinely cares about her customers, and her excellent service truly stood out.

“Great quality, well presented food in an upscale, but unassuming environment. Perfect for lunch with friends, colleagues, or a date night!

As a vegan, the variety of dishes to choose from was a relative rarity and greatly appreciated! I had the sweet potato and bean chilli which was really tasty, well balanced, gorgeously presented, hearty - the perfect dish for autumn. The plant based dishes were so well designed that my colleagues, both of whom eat meat, opted for vegan meals too!

The farm to table concept is fabulous and the quality of ingredients is noticeable on the first bite. Each staff member we had the pleasure of interacting with was lovely, and the service was excellent throughout.

“This bar does a great job of offering good drinks and food, making it a nice place to hang out. The beer list was awesome, and I really liked the fruited sour with its sweet berry taste. The French onion soup was tasty too, with the cheese all stretchy and the bread perfectly soaked so every bite had the right mix.

The staff were quick and friendly, but the bar was pretty crowded, and I had to sit near some loud coworkers, which wasn’t the best. Still, the place had a cool vibe overall.

The old-school decorations and the classic Princeton feel made it fun to be there. Even though the seating was tight, the good drinks and food make this bar worth checking out.“

“Had date night over the weekend, got the duck spring rolls and tuna tartare for starters. Entrees we got salmon in a bed of broccolini and quinoa and the duck dish with potatoes, carrots and a puree that knocked me outta my chair. “This is our neighborhood bar where everybody knows your name; great selection, fair pricing, consistently tasty food and the BEST bartenders in Mercer County. Just the perfect, comfortable (albeit outdated and in need of a refresh) place to chill.“

“We’ve stayed here annually for 16 years. It’s a pass through for us. One night but friendly and helpful staff good food and we seen the same FD staff for the past 12 years. Even during Covid we stayed, they cared even though the kitchen was closed they advised us where to get take out. It is a comfortable, friendly place to stay.“

“We went to dine with this rag tag restaurant and the experience was awful. The waitress had no teeth and asked my son for his? At first we thought “hey maybe they are joking” then all of a sudden. They lady grabbed his front bicuspid. Needless to say - at that point we were concerned. Because we had a long day we were still hungry. So we stuck around. The next thing you know. The toothless individual brought another toothless friend and tried to get my tooth as well. At that point. We know. Time to get out of here. We were cooked. Unlike the food at this gross place.“

“We received a warm welcome from the moment we walked into the restaurant. The waiter was kind, knowledgeable, and never made us feel rushed. He was attentive but not intrusive. The drinks we ordered were totally enjoyable and a great way to start the meal. The food was amazing! We enjoyed the mussels in broth appetizer as well as the shrimp in garlic appetizer. Two of us enjoyed the two fish specials. The other two enjoyed the 1/2 chicken and the schnitzel. Dessert was the grilled pound cake ice cream sandwich, it was awesome! The waiter was wonderful about helping me choose tasty items while avoiding foods I am allergic to. We will definitely return. Thank you for one of best meals we have had in a while!“

“I mean it's fine, but I had a burger coated in a sauce that makes your hands sticky and there were no additional napkins, and the paper towels in the bathroom had run out and they had a draft special for happy hour but the taps weren't working. Hilariously they had sushi on the menu though, which I almost got.“

“I've eaten here multiple times. Place is clean. The A/C is nice and cool and comfy. Items I've had: Pizza - excellent. Cheesesteak - Great. Soups always wonderful. The warm bread is great. Shrimp Scampi is nicely done too. As an added bonus - Gary the owner, if he's working - nice classic rock will be playing. If he's not there - well, it'll be the modern hiphop yucky music :) I would take a friend to this place anytime! Sometimes the waitress can be in the "typical" bad mood, sometimes she's good - -but then again - it's Trenton/Ewing - you know what I mean.“

“I had a great experience at Iron & Ivy! I loveeeee going to hotel restaurants! I feel like I'm on a sense of vacation even though I'm not staying over! When you walk into Iron & Ivy, you're greeted by a beautiful fireplace and bright, stocked bar! The hostess was so sweet and recommended amazing menu options! We started off with the quesadillas and the bourbon bbq wings! When I tell you, the quesadillas were top 5 all time, they are TOP 5! They didn't fall apart and were toasted to perfection as well as loaded with shrimp and cheese and beans and corn! It was PHENOMENAL! For dinner we ordered the Grilled Flat Iron Steak and the Spinach & Roasted Garlic Tortellini! The veggies were so delicious and it was a huge portion that I was able to bring home for lunch the next day! For drinks, you couldn't go wrong with the dirty martini, the very berry martini and the Soccer Mom Lemonade! It was a great night overall and they have a huge inside / outside dining area! Highly recommend checking out Iron & Ivy and make sure you order the quesadillas because they are LIFE CHANGING!“

“Hands down my favorite bagels in the area. You can’t go wrong with a pork roll egg and cheese on an everything bagel. I also love The Plainsboro breakfast which comes with French toast, eggs, sausage, and bacon. Their lunch options are good too!“

“Celebrating 3 birthdays at Roots Ocean Prime with 8 people. Everyone loved their entrees (steaks ) which were cooked perfectly. Sides were tasty and enjoyed by everyone. Great wine list. Appreciated the wine recommendation by our server. Our server, Rachel, was excellent. The birthday desserts were the hit of the dinner!
