Local winery with friendly, helpful staff who are knowledgeable about not only their own winery, but others, as well. Like many Central and Northern NJ wineries, their Reds are not as full bodied as west coast wines. However, their whites, particularly the Traminette and Riesling are quite good. Your dog is allowed, but not your kids under 21. Of course wine is like art, where your taste is your taste, but give Working Dog a try.
I had such a fun time at working dog winery with some friends yesterday. There was live music and amazing vibes throughout the afternoon. We did a wine tasting and got bottles of our favorite red and white to share. I normally go for reds but I really enjoyed the Traminette. It was light and had a clean finish.
