“The food here was excellent! We ordered a variety of sushi and a delicious soup, both of which were great. Just a heads-up on the tiramisu: it’s not a classic recipe, but still interesting.

The only downside was the service model. It is self-service, and the staff wasn't very attentive about letting us know when our food was ready to be picked up. Despite the lack of table service, they still ask for a tip, which felt a bit off. Overall, great food, but the service system could be improved.“

“BEST SUSHI AROUND!!!!!!! I’ve tried sushi up to 20 minutes from Plainsboro and I was disappointed every time. I found out that Hiro opened from a Clippers magazine and I literally couldn’t be more excited that it opened 2 minutes away from my apartment. Super clean, great music, nice decorations! Will definitely be returning. Best of all, no more complaining about how the sushi in the Princeton area is horrible!!! :) love love love!“

“First visit last week for lunch on a friend's recommendation. Really good General Tsao combo plate, and salmon bento box. The service was attentive, and pricing surprisingly inexpensive. E.g. The bottled water and canned sweet tea were $1 each. Parking is in the rear of the building. A bit hard to find because of high bushes on the Rte 33 frontage, but worth looking for. Highly recommend "Best Choice."

“This is the perfect blend of cuisines for our family on a takeout night. Food is priced well for the quality and we usually get a mix of Sushi, Japanese appetizers and Thai dishes for the adults and American Chinese food for the kids as they have plain lo mein, fried rices and combinations which are better suited for a younger palate.“

“Midori is our local Go To for consistently good sushi. We've been going here for a few years now since they reopened a while after COVID. My neighbor's turned us on to the place when they ordered sushi platters during and after COVID since they didn't open their dining area until much after most places had already opened. Their sushi and food has remained consistent with quality and taste and never failed us. Sushi is always fresh tasting and lots of variety of specialty rolls also. My kids really love the chicken katsu dinner and always get that. Their Kani salad is one of the best I've had around the area. Their dining area is nice and large with plenty of seating and is a great atmosphere. They are BYOB also, which is a plus. It you are from the area you are missing out if you don't have Midori as one of your go to local sushi spots. You won't be disappointed.“

“You have to try the sweet potato tempura sushi. What a revelation! My omnivore friend and I had a great vegan meal here. There are several vegetarian options that won't make anyone feel deprived.“

“The best food, comes out hot on time and even if you order apps and dinner all at once you won't get your food all at once or feel like you are being rushed. “I just got back from a trip to Tokyo/Kyoto and have been seriously depressed missing all the delicious Japanese food I was able to eat over there. Thankfully I found Mizu Japanese Cuisine on Uber Eats. I ordered the Chicken Katsu which comes with all the fixings (salad, miso soup, rice). The chicken was so juicy and delicious. I also got a side order of pork Gyoza which really tied the meal together. If you are stuck in a post-Japan trip depression this place will surely lift your spirits. The food will seriously hit the spot! The only thing missing is the moist towelette :P Highly recommend. Thank you.“

They have a respectively diverse menu for a sushi restaurant and make everything individually to order. With this in mind, yes please plan to spend time there. It is a bit pricey, but for us it is worth it every time.“
