“As far as special occasion dinners go, this was pretty top notch. Obviously the price point doesn't allow for this to be an everyday thing but when you're feeling like treating yourself, I highly recommend a dinner here.

We came here with a Saturday night reservation for the Kotobuki Omakase option. The team at Naoki sushi all works very well together and the entire experience was super special and went very smoothly. I love the simple atmosphere and decor, it is relaxing, bright and very authentically Japanese.

There wasn't a single thing that wasn't delicious in its own way. The fish was super fresh and I'm still dreaming about the melt-in-your-mouth uni. You can tell that you get what you pay for here in terms of quality.“

The only downside was the service model. It is self-service, and the staff wasn't very attentive about letting us know when our food was ready to be picked up. Despite the lack of table service, they still ask for a tip, which felt a bit off. Overall, great food, but the service system could be improved.“

Food is priced well for the quality and we usually get a mix of Sushi, Japanese appetizers and Thai dishes for the adults and American Chinese food for the kids as they have plain lo mein, fried rices and combinations which are better suited for a younger palate.“

“First visit last week for lunch on a friend's recommendation. Really good General Tsao combo plate, and salmon bento box. The service was attentive, and pricing surprisingly inexpensive. E.g. The bottled water and canned sweet tea were $1 each. Parking is in the rear of the building. A bit hard to find because of high bushes on the Rte 33 frontage, but worth looking for. Highly recommend "Best Choice."

I found out that Hiro opened from a Clippers magazine and I literally couldn’t be more excited that it opened 2 minutes away from my apartment. Super clean, great music, nice decorations! “Bento! Bento! Bento! A lot of people have this stigma that grocery stores sushi is not good. Normally I would agree with you however! Not here sweetheart. Not here! All ShopRite locations have different sushi companies that come to their store- prepare package sushi - clean up and move on to the next location.You have to look for the ShopRite that mentions Bento sushi, such as this location. If my memory serves me correctly it says bento sushi next to the ShopRite sign out front“

“Midori is our local Go To for consistently good sushi. We've been going here for a few years now since they reopened a while after COVID. My neighbor's turned us on to the place when they ordered sushi platters during and after COVID since they didn't open their dining area until much after most places had already opened. Their sushi and food has remained consistent with quality and taste and never failed us. Sushi is always fresh tasting and lots of variety of specialty rolls also. My kids really love the chicken katsu dinner and always get that. Their Kani salad is one of the best I've had around the area. Their dining area is nice and large with plenty of seating and is a great atmosphere. They are BYOB also, which is a plus. It you are from the area you are missing out if you don't have Midori as one of your go to local sushi spots. You won't be disappointed.“

Thankfully I found Mizu Japanese Cuisine on Uber Eats. I ordered the Chicken Katsu which comes with all the fixings (salad, miso soup, rice). The chicken was so juicy and delicious. I also got a side order of pork Gyoza which really tied the meal together. If you are stuck in a post-Japan trip depression this place will surely lift your spirits.
