“Amazing. There is options for everyone the flavors are insane. You can choose between an item based menu a set menu or omakase and all of them are worth it, everything tastes so fresh. Staff is super nice and can accommodate your requests. Price is a bit steep but it’s fair for the quality of the products. Like let me tell you I think this is the best quality of fish in central New Jersey at least. Unfortunately it is a BYOB but they can accommodate. Big fan will be coming back!“

The only downside was the service model. It is self-service, and the staff wasn't very attentive about letting us know when our food was ready to be picked up. Despite the lack of table service, they still ask for a tip, which felt a bit off. Overall, great food, but the service system could be improved.“

“BEST SUSHI AROUND!!!!!!! I’ve tried sushi up to 20 minutes from Plainsboro and I was disappointed every time. I found out that Hiro opened from a Clippers magazine and I literally couldn’t be more excited that it opened 2 minutes away from my apartment. Super clean, great music, nice decorations! “First visit last week for lunch on a friend's recommendation. Really good General Tsao combo plate, and salmon bento box. The service was attentive, and pricing surprisingly inexpensive. E.g. The bottled water and canned sweet tea were $1 each. Parking is in the rear of the building. A bit hard to find because of high bushes on the Rte 33 frontage, but worth looking for. Highly recommend "Best Choice."

“Bento! Bento! Bento! A lot of people have this stigma that grocery stores sushi is not good. Normally I would agree with you however! Not here sweetheart. Not here! All ShopRite locations have different sushi companies that come to their store- prepare package sushi - clean up and move on to the next location.You have to look for the ShopRite that mentions Bento sushi, such as this location. If my memory serves me correctly it says bento sushi next to the ShopRite sign out front“

Food is priced well for the quality and we usually get a mix of Sushi, Japanese appetizers and Thai dishes for the adults and American Chinese food for the kids as they have plain lo mein, fried rices and combinations which are better suited for a younger palate.“

“Midori is our local Go To for consistently good sushi. We've been going here for a few years now since they reopened a while after COVID. My neighbor's turned us on to the place when they ordered sushi platters during and after COVID since they didn't open their dining area until much after most places had already opened. Their sushi and food has remained consistent with quality and taste and never failed us. Sushi is always fresh tasting and lots of variety of specialty rolls also. My kids really love the chicken katsu dinner and always get that. Their Kani salad is one of the best I've had around the area. Their dining area is nice and large with plenty of seating and is a great atmosphere. They are BYOB also, which is a plus. It you are from the area you are missing out if you don't have Midori as one of your go to local sushi spots. You won't be disappointed.“
