“As far as special occasion dinners go, this was pretty top notch. Obviously the price point doesn't allow for this to be an everyday thing but when you're feeling like treating yourself, I highly recommend a dinner here.

We came here with a Saturday night reservation for the Kotobuki Omakase option. The team at Naoki sushi all works very well together and the entire experience was super special and went very smoothly. I love the simple atmosphere and decor, it is relaxing, bright and very authentically Japanese.

There wasn't a single thing that wasn't delicious in its own way. The fish was super fresh and I'm still dreaming about the melt-in-your-mouth uni. You can tell that you get what you pay for here in terms of quality.“

“I love this place! My husband & I just got back from a trip to Japan a couple weeks ago and I was missing it so much! I discovered Maruichi and it brought me back to Japan 😌🥹. I was able to find this peach water I was obsessed about and the super delicious black thunder chocolate candy bars. AMAZING. Plus a lot of other things! There's a huge variety of tasty snacks and fresh fish! I will definitely be back for sure! I live almost an hour away from the store but it is definitely worth the drive!!“

Thankfully I found Mizu Japanese Cuisine on Uber Eats. I ordered the Chicken Katsu which comes with all the fixings (salad, miso soup, rice). The chicken was so juicy and delicious. I also got a side order of pork Gyoza which really tied the meal together. If you are stuck in a post-Japan trip depression this place will surely lift your spirits. “Great boba! A lot of milk tea doesn’t even taste of tea, but this spot does it right. The boba is perfectly supple and flavorful too, plenty of chew not over cooked or under. I went here 3 times and the service was fast and the boba quality was perfectly consistent the entire week. Would highly recommend for a quick grab brown sugar boba milk tea. I tried the Japanese dessert place next door for the same drink and it was disappointing in most dimensions compared to Kung Fu Tea.“

They have a respectively diverse menu for a sushi restaurant and make everything individually to order. With this in mind, yes please plan to spend time there. “Midori is our local Go To for consistently good sushi. We've been going here for a few years now since they reopened a while after COVID. My neighbor's turned us on to the place when they ordered sushi platters during and after COVID since they didn't open their dining area until much after most places had already opened. Their sushi and food has remained consistent with quality and taste and never failed us. Sushi is always fresh tasting and lots of variety of specialty rolls also. My kids really love the chicken katsu dinner and always get that. Their Kani salad is one of the best I've had around the area. Their dining area is nice and large with plenty of seating and is a great atmosphere. They are BYOB also, which is a plus. It you are from the area you are missing out if you don't have Midori as one of your go to local sushi spots. You won't be disappointed.“

The prices are fair and customer service is always nice. I always go for sushi but they have everything from general tso's chicken to shrimp dumplings.
