“Went last night with two friends for my birthday! I think our chef said his name was Gino! He was great and our waitress and the food was great! My only complaint was that the music was blaring so, we couldn't hear what anyone was saying and we really could even talk to each other!!! It took away from the experience since our chef was saying things that we couldn't hear. I did ask three different staff members if they could lower it to no avail. We don't think we will go back there again! We had to keep asking our waitress to repeat herself and that got to be exhsusting😣“

“Amazing. There is options for everyone the flavors are insane. You can choose between an item based menu a set menu or omakase and all of them are worth it, everything tastes so fresh. Staff is super nice and can accommodate your requests. Price is a bit steep but it’s fair for the quality of the products. Like let me tell you I think this is the best quality of fish in central New Jersey at least. Unfortunately it is a BYOB but they can accommodate. Big fan will be coming back!“

Ordered a bunch of sushi and entrees from here and picked up to go. Food was packed great - separating cold from warm foods. They gave plenty of sauces and sides for everything. Proportions were great.“

“My husband, who eats sushi like its water, found this place one day and couldn't wait to show me. They are a small, cozy shop in a basement in the city. They have a respectively diverse menu for a sushi restaurant and make everything individually to order. With this in mind, yes please plan to spend time there. It is a bit pricey, but for us it is worth it every time.“

“We stopped in on the way back from a trip to Trenton. We searched for a place to get Pho, soup dumplings and boba tea. This place hit on all three.
This is a small store front and at 9 PM on a Saturday it was very busy. There were a few seats open but most were full. There were a half dozen or more people waiting for food and drinks and a steady stream of people were coming in to pick up takeout.
The decor is contemporary, bright and busy lots of signs, specials, menus, etc.
There were only three employees visible and all were in constant motion.
The service was efficient without time to do much more than acknowledge each customer.
The food and drinks are focus and the draw
I am not a huge fan of boba tea, but when asked to try it, I have to say that it was excellent. The milk tea was rich and flavorful, the bobas were not too sweet, the texture was so much better than others that I've had. (Admitting that I am no expert, I will say that I will definitely explore the drink options when I am able to visit again.)
The soup dumplings were delicious. Many different flavors shown through and blended perfectly.
My favorite pho is roast pork, which was not an option, so we got the standard beef. It was also very good.
This seems to be a Princeton staple and I can absolutely see why. I wish they were closer. I would absolutely be a regular if it was close to home!

“Midori is our local Go To for consistently good sushi. We've been going here for a few years now since they reopened a while after COVID. My neighbor's turned us on to the place when they ordered sushi platters during and after COVID since they didn't open their dining area until much after most places had already opened. Their sushi and food has remained consistent with quality and taste and never failed us. Sushi is always fresh tasting and lots of variety of specialty rolls also. My kids really love the chicken katsu dinner and always get that. Their Kani salad is one of the best I've had around the area. Their dining area is nice and large with plenty of seating and is a great atmosphere. They are BYOB also, which is a plus. It you are from the area you are missing out if you don't have Midori as one of your go to local sushi spots. You won't be disappointed.“

“This place has the best sushi in the area. It's take-out only so you have to get all the way back home to eat the delicious sushi. But it's so worth the wait. The prices are fair and customer service is always nice. I always go for sushi but they have everything from general tso's chicken to shrimp dumplings.
