“Yokohama offers a variety of selections, from Japanese food i.e., sushi, hibachi (sorry, no chef show), bento boxes to Thai and Chinese food all in one place. The food is excellent, sushi is superb with super fresh fish, portions are generous, prices are very reasonable, and the service is outstanding (ask for Chloe, she'll take good care of you). Don't be fooled if you find the place with only a few patrons. It's a hidden gem. The restaurant may not be elegant but you won’t be disappointed with the food quality, pricing, service, and cleanliness of the place. Never a wait either. Highly recommended!“

“Best place to get Sushi in the area for the last 20 years. I don't live in Warrington anymore but I USED TO COME HERE ALL THE TIME!!! Where else can you get such great SAKE and or a nice pot of GREEN TEA? The hot beverages are superb in the winter to sit and relax. I used to love coming for lunch for the lunch specials and it would also be quiet and meditative . This is actually a place I Used to really practice Mediation at while listening to the beautiful Japanese flute music. They have beautiful water flowing at the entrance and a delicious sushi menu. But real eyes that the brown sauce they put on the sweet potato rolls contains Eel. It is an eel sauce so definitely not vegan.

I love the sweet potato and roll and the Avocado cucumber roll. I also always get the Kong PAu Tofu which is fried tofu with peanuts and veggies and rice.

Another must here as a vegan is the hot and sour soup they make for vegetarians!

Everything was a bit too spicy for my daughter so next time I will tell them to dial it back a bit if she returns with me.“

“My family and I had an incredible dining experience tonight at Umai. We had a special, Kinmedai aka Golden Eye Snapper that was so fresh and tasty, out of this world good! We also had a treat with broiled tuna cheek that was also outstanding. Otoro was so velvety and rich, spicy hotate, sweet ebi, unagi, fried crabs, incredible sushi rolls, savory Akadashi (my son ordered a second it was so good) and everything else we ordered tonight was just incredible. “Edit - Within less than an hour of posting my review, I received a prompt call from the restaurant to apologize explaining they saw my review and looked into what could’ve happened. They had found there was a crack in one of their lids and have fixed the issue. I am very happy with how quickly they looked into this and reached out. As such, I’m editing my review and can say this was likely just an accident and not indicative of the overall quality of the restaurant.Been coming here for years and the food is generally good. That said, we found a shard of hard glass or plastic in our food (spicy tuna roll) which my wife bit down on. Unfortunately I don’t think we’ll be coming back. Giving two stars just based on the previous good experiences…“
