It's conveniently located inside the Assi Plaza in their food court (there's a separate entrance to the food court). It offers typical Korean dishes at a reasonable price. Bibimbap (cold) was very good, and it came with a couple of Banchan (side dishes, in this instance two types of kimchi) and miso soup (unfortunately it was weak--watery taste). If you'd like to have a fairly decent Korean meal for less, this is your place. Enjoy!
No frills, expect great homemade Korean food served by a grumpy Korean man. In Korea, the grumpier the staff, the more authentic it is. My source is that I grew up there.
Wonderful family-operated little spot. I crave their soup and it never disappoints. Thank you for the pride and love that clearly goes into every bite.

Friends is a Korean restaurant with a style that stands out, offering delicious food like udon and rice cake with mild spice. Customers appreciate the reasonable prices and great meals, making it a favorite spot for Korean cuisine. Located in Assi Plaza, known for its diverse Asian groceries, Friends is a gem with a variety of food options. While some feel the choices are slightly limited compared to other places, the Bulgogi Kimbap is a must-try. The friendly staff adds to the experience, providing helpful tips on enjoying the dishes. Just keep in mind the $10 minimum for credit card purchases.
