“Food quality and value was good. Restaurant had a high end feel. Only minor negative was when we arrived 90% of the restaurant was empty and we were told to sit at the sushi bar because they were expecting a wave of reservations. However by the time we finished our meal the restaurant was 80% empty so we definitely could have sat at a table. The menu has a lot of good options so we will definitely return.“
“A very nice small Japanese Restaurant. I liked the chicken katsu and also had chicken and vegetable tempura with a vegetable soba. The service is very good. The food comes out as it is finished which makes the dining experience a little disjointed as one person's food comes first, then a few minutes later the next and so on. It would improve a bit if they could have everyone's food delived within a couple of minutes. I know this can be difficult and I like the food so much that I am not dinging them at allThe interior is very nice and clean and it looks good. It has tables for 2, for 4 and one table for 5 and/or maybe 6. So reservations are highly recommended. The food is good and is presented well. You should enjoy it assuming you find some food to your taste. I know Japanese food so it isn't too hard for me to find food choices I like.“
“The food is amazing, it's family owned by the nicest people you'll ever meet, the sushi is such great quality and the sushi chef takes great care in his craft. The takoyaki is so so good here, I go here once a week at least because I work nearby they've never disappointed! There's indoor seating if you don't want to do take out and it's very quick. It's nearly always empty because people prefer to order out instead, so you can always dine in if you'd prefer!“
“Tried a variety of sushi including spicy tuna, shrimp tempura, salmon, and a fancy Dragon Roll. Also tried Drunken Noodle. All were amazing. Calamari was overcooked so I would avoid that and stick to their sushi and noodle specialities. Best sushi in the area. Great place to dine in or take out.“

The atmosphere is sophisticated and feels very up scale.The food was fabulous in taste, portion, and visual appeal.I personally had shrimp and scallop teriyaki and it was stunning. The teriyaki was sweet and not pungent. The scallops were cooked to perfection. I was also very pleased with the shrimp shumai. I very much recommend this establishment. Their staff were very friendly and courteous. Our waiter was very diligent, knowledgeable, and above all kind. He had wonderful recommendations which did not disappoint. The chairs for dining in were comfortable and while the overall restaurant is small it didn't feel cramped.“

The last time we ordered, we were given a complimentary tea set because of the "wait" to pick up a take out order. “This place deserves way more hype and attention. In my opinion they have the best food in town, also by far the freshest. I usually get the chicken hibachi meal. The chicken is always perfectly cooked, the veggies are so fresh, and the rice is just amazing. It comes with a salad and soup which are both outstanding. I've gotten sushi a few times too and they just impress me every single time. A true hidden gem. Every sauce I believe is homemade- and they do it perfectly. Honestly, I cannot recommend them enough. Also they gave us a crab salad sample last night...I don't usually like crab but WOW that was good! Thank you so much! I will come here forever.“

“I went to Umai for dinner. I ordered rolls and they were very tasty. I would however prefer to have more fish in my sushi ? That's why I only gave a three stars. The restaurant appeared to have multiple regulars there because they called the staff by name. Overall the food was good. The staff was very friendly. Good service. I think it's a nice place to sit down and have some dinner with friends.“
“Fuji Asian is amazing! I have tried all of the restaurants in the area, and Fuji is by far the best of them all! Not only is their food incredible, the prices are extremely reasonable. I come every other week and always get the steak hibachi. Consistency and quality are important and it’s always amazing every time. They also have the best spicy mayo, which I love! “I truly believe Ooka at Willow Grove tops a lot of high end sushi places. I have been coming for at least 15 years. It is always fresh, consistent with food and service. They make the BEST sauce for the Kumoto oysters in my opinion. Whenever I am close, I will always stop by. It’s a plus that they are BYOB, an excellent place to meet your friends and colleagues.“
“Very nice place with good service. It has become our favorite. There are always free seats, the halls are large. The rolls are absolutely delicious! Huge selection for every taste and budget. The pieces of fish are large and the rice is small - an ideal ratio. Pour delicious green tea, top up as needed. The waiters are helpful and well-trained - 5th arrival. It’s clean, the tables are clean, overall cleanliness and order - I really appreciate this, a rarity in our region. Prices for a set of rolls start from $5 - and this is a large number of types like Philadelphia, etc. I definitely recommend it.“

“We love OOKA and travel almost an hour for our meals here. The cost is always high for our party of 6 so we reserve our trips. Food is always excellent and I have never had a complaint about any of our choices. We went last week for my son's birthday. Food was excellent as usual for all choices of sushi and hibachi. This trip though the floors were sticking to our shoes all the way through the restaurant. Restooms could use a good corner cleaning. And surprisingly, after the meal we had to get up and go to the counter twice to get service to finalize our visit. It was a weeknight so while it was busy it was not over packed when we were there. Still excellent food, just hope the service returns to normal next trip as this was not our normal experience here.“

“I was so impressed with this Sushi place. They are located inside of the Assi food court. It was my son's 8th birthday and all he wanted was sushi. We could not find anyone that was open for dine-in. We arrived around 3pm after much searching and they were sweet and so kind. They rushed us out a huge sushi Platter so we would eat our ridiculously late lunch. All of the sushi was delicious but it was hands down the best prepared Eel we've ever had. I don't know when we'll be back in this area, I do know if we are we'll be pre-ordering a Platter to pick up!“

“Their spicy tuna sandwich is sooo delicious! Love this place! I was celebrating my birthday on 11/22 with my aunt, who’s never been there before. She liked everything we had. So much so, that she plans on bringing her crew there for their next hang. We ordered from the lunch specials- eel for me with particularly tasty miso soup- I could smell the smoky scent that tells me it will be flavorful & it was. I HAD to have the spicy tuna sandwich too-it’s still as delicious as I remember from quite a few years ago. My aunt had a beef teriyaki bento box from the bottom of the lunch specials list on the menu & she enjoyed that & everything else in the Boxed Lunch. I let her try my eel and the marinated daikon from the platter & she was surprised at how yummy they both were. Portions were generous too. The staff were very nice, and attentive. We couldn’t have had a nicer experience. We’ll be back much sooner next time.“

“We live closer to the Ooka in Willow Grove but make the extra drive to Doylestown because they have a bar with delicious cocktails. The food is just as amazing and delicious. I highly recommend the live scallop appetizer. So fresh and tasty. The earth and sea roll is incredible. And if you like wasabi, ask for the house made wasabi. It is extra fresh and brings wasabi to a new level. And don’t leave without getting dessert. The fried banana is the perfect ending to a perfect meal at Ooka Doylestown.
