“Such a fantastic find inside the Market at the Fareway! Honestly, this was easily some of the best sushi we’ve eaten in a long time. Every single plate that hit our table was fresh, beautifully prepared, and packed with flavor.

​We decided to order a wide variety, and there wasn’t a single weak link in the bunch. The tuna nigiri was tender, generously cut, and melted in your mouth. The Sushi on the Beach roll was an absolute standout, nicely spicy on top with a wonderfully yummy, crispy interior that gave it the best texture. Another favorite was the mango roll, which had a delicious sweet-and-savory contrast, tender avocado, and a generous topping of toasted sesame seeds. We also had a crunchy roll with great bite and started with the seaweed salad, which was crisp, flavorful, and incredibly refreshing.

​What truly elevates this spot beyond the food is the owner. He works so hard, takes genuine pride in what he makes, and is super friendly and social with everyone who stops by. His positive energy sets the tone for the entire place and makes you feel welcome.

“The idea of eating raw fish is always a concern whenever I eat out. Itchiro is a nice cozy, family friendly, first date type of place to relax and explore the menu. At first glance, the front side of the restaurant looks a bit ordinary and small. But as soon as you get in, that cozy place has a bit more to offer.

“Incredible neighborhood place who punches above their humble surroundings. All of their food is fresh, flavorful and delightful. Rich ramen meals, great noodles dishes and I just had their sushi for the first time. man oh man, it was perfect: not overly done with rice, plenty of rich cuts of fish, fruits and veggies, and sauces that did not overwhelm. Light and full of flavor. And their seaweed salad? Addictive. Go, or order to take out……you can’t lose.“

“We came to check out the ramen self serve station. It was a fun experience for my 7 year old to help make her own ramen bowl. The employee there was so friendly and helped her find a flavor that she would like. I had the miso soup and tuna sushi. Everything was so fresh and delicious, my daughter loved her ramen too. “We ordered for pick-up. The food was delicious on the first day. When my boyfriend reheated and ate his food the next day, he said his stomach was bad. I wasn't there to know how it was reheated. I always do it on the stove and he uses the microwave. It was our third time eating here, the two previous were eat-in and we never had stomach issues before. I was fine after I ate and I left the leftover chicken for him.“

“Was here recently for a colleague’s birthday party. They rented a private room with food + bottle service. Off street parking was definitely a huge plus. The staff was very attentive, and the overall atmosphere of the place seemed pretty chill. My only critique is the karaoke interface is not very intuitive, and the selection for ACTUAL karaoke/instrumental tracks are very limited because they only use Spotify for the music. It’s more like a sing-along than karaoke. I would suggest using youtube instead of spotify because YouTube’s selection of music for karaoke is far superior. Other than that, the place is great!“

“They are always delicious and offer a wide variety of options on their menu. Sometimes they get the order wrong but they go above and beyond to make it up to you. If you order from DoorDash they have good deals or you can sign up with their app and get points. If you order enough they’ll throw something in for ya. We love sushi 🍣 ❤“

“I would give 5 stars for the food if I could. I’ve been there several times and the vegetables and sushi are always fresh. The service is quick, it’s like a fast food place but with healthier options. I usually get the steamed vegetables with white sauce and white rice and a MAC roll. I am gluten free as well as vegan, and had no problem eating here. My family enjoyed their food as well.“

The sushi is delicate and fresh, the specialty rolls were a highlight offering a unique balance of flavor and texture. I appreciated the variety of options, although they need to update their menu options. Having said that, my bartender Matt was extremely helpful with his insight and knowledge. I appreciated their fresh take on cocktails and a varied selection of sake and wine. I will be back soon.“

When I mentioned entertainment I referred to the chef, who had a sense of humor while he prepared our food. He made our dinner most enjoyable.
