My favorite from my course was Gindara(miso cod) with pumpkin sauce which tasted like Japanese pumpkin and they matched so well, also the akami (tuna red meat) tasted super fresh! Every other fish were fresh and loved the way they prepared everything! Chefs were also very nice and fun to chat with!“

“Super fresh and really tasty sushi. I had the lunch special. For 11 dollars you get soup or salad (got the miso soup it was delicious) and 2 rolls. I got the sweet potato & shrimp roll. Almond chicken tastes good on the outside! The subtle and nutty flavor of almonds goes perfectly with the juicy, tender chicken. I'm glad it's not salty compared to other places.
It goes well with the sweet and salty soy sauce.
The assorted fries were plentiful and had a variety of varieties.
Even the air was dry! It was delicious because the rice grains were still alive. The sincerity and know-how to cook a delicious bowl of rice!
I will have to come here often.

This place is a hidden gem in the NE Philadelphia area.
The almond chicken slaps HARD. Soft, tender, juicy chicken with a crunchy, mellow, savory, fried-almond crust-absolutely delicious. The teriyaki sauce complements the texture and flavor of the almond chicken well.
The mixed tempura was great. Big serving size, definitely sharable between 2+ people, and a nice variety of fried stuff. The tempura was crispy and light, while having a nice savory flavor.
I can tell this place takes their cooking seriously because even their white rice was cooked really well. When the individual grains of cooked rice are nice and plump and distinct, rather than being overcooked, wet, and lowkey crushed, it really shows the attention the chefs are giving to the dishes cooked. I'm stoked to try the sushi and everything else on the menu.
The service was fast, and the server was friendly.
Looking forward to dining here more frequently.“

“The inside of this restaurant is very beautiful, I love the cozy environment and the atmosphere of their dining room. However, today, I ordered takeout for the first time. My food was ready in less than 20 minutes, and the lady working at the front desk was very efficient at processing my payment. We ordered gyoza, a salmon tempura roll, and the AAC roll. EVERYTHING was delicious and cooked perfectly. Nothing was greasy, unflavorful, or overcooked. Even the condiments they served with our order were fresh. The next time I'm in the area, I will absolutely come back to this restaurant. Stellar job.“

“Food is good, fresh, fast. Options for hot or cold food, sushi, poke. My missing star is something they could fix. That is a glitch (in my opinion) in customizing orders.
There is no build-your-own option, you start with what they offer. Then, although you can add items, you get no credit for removing items. "Add shrimp" or "add chicken" is $5, but "no chicken" is not minus $5. So they say customizable, but a $17 chicken bowl becomes $22 to sub out shrimp. Same for poke bowls if you want to sub out, for instance, cooked shrimp for raw tuna.
If they fix this, I'd be more likely to return.“

“This place is great! This was my first time ordering from them and we got delivery. It was ready fairly quickly and even arrive earlier than expected. The sushi was such a good price and great quality. We realized we were missing a roll and called back the store. They were able to redeliver it at no cost and had it there in under 10 mins! “As a customer of almost 10 years, Tako stands a head above the other sushi/asian fusion resturants in the area. They have always had prompt, professional, and accurate service that delivers exceptionally tasty sushi, japanese curry, and hibachi entrees. This is not the resturant to miss if you are visiting Bensalem or if you a resident who hasnt tried it yet.

Dietary restrictions: The kitchen staff has been working with my particular alum insenisitivity from my first order. The only time I've had to pick things out is when I forgot to tell them.“

Our server, Michelle, was great. We had tge seared pepper tuna sushi app - so fresh and delicious. My husband had the hibachi with filet and lobster - amazing too. My son had the combo udon noodles - ate every bite! We had the tempura banana dessert - delicious as well as the chocolate mousse cake and coppa cafe. Amy at the front desk was so gracious and sweet. It was my first time there but my sister's second or third visit. Prices are great so we got the all you can eat option so we could try lots of different things. I would go back just for the cold noodles and the pumpkin tempura. SOOOO GOOD! The rolls, however, were rather nondescript and very light on fish. We shared 6 different rolls and most of them tasted the same. Maybe because they were mostly rice and veggies with not enough fish to distinguish them? The pork katsu was very thin and a bit over-cooked. The result was breading harder than it should be and pork that was dried out. So, not much flavor there. Shame. My sister said her meals were better when she was there before so maybe it was an off night. But, we enjoyed ourselves regardless.

Wheelchair accessibility: Even with the vestibule, I could get my large power chair into the place easily. There were lots of tables that could accommodate wheelchairs. The bathroom is accessible with a stall big enough for my chair to fit inside if I backed in. Makes for easy transfer.“

“I took my boyfriend here for his birthday, and we both really enjoyed it! We had the 12-course omakase for $68, which is a great deal compared to other spots in Philly. Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. The chef was friendly, though he spoke very little English, which made communication a bit challenging. The whole experience lasted about an hour.

It’s no longer BYOB, but they do offer a variety of drinks. We tried the fruity sake flight, and it was a great choice—different flavors to sample, and it paired perfectly with the sushi. The interior is small and cozy, with charming Japanese décor. The only downside is the parking; it’s pretty tough. Fortunately, we managed to find a spot in a small alley about a block away.“

The staff was very attentive, and the overall atmosphere of the place seemed pretty chill. My only critique is the karaoke interface is not very intuitive, and the selection for ACTUAL karaoke/instrumental tracks are very limited because they only use Spotify for the music. It’s more like a sing-along than karaoke. I would suggest using youtube instead of spotify because YouTube’s selection of music for karaoke is far superior. Other than that, the place is great!“

“The food was fantastic and the entertainment was great. I had a lobster and shrimp dish which had such great flavor. The blend of the vegetables was so tasty and melted in my mouth. When I mentioned entertainment I referred to the chef, who had a sense of humor while he prepared our food. He made our dinner most enjoyable. I certainly would return to the restaurant and encourage friends to try it.“
