“Absolutely incredible experience here at Akira. Came on a Tuesday evening and the place was packed! Both sides (regular and hibachi). Our server was so sweet and was so fun with our son. The place is loud so our son fit in just nicely.

Food is absolutely incredible!! The little slivers of ginger were the best I’ve ever had. I just wish it was the coarse sea salt on the edamame instead of table salt.

“Arrived 8:15 Friday night was seated immediately in a very secluded spot. Server was at our table in 1-2 minutes. The staff was very attentive and super friendly.
Now to the quality of the food. I have boneless duck was tender and flavorful. The other diner had beef thia Basel. The beef was so tender and just excellent. Had an sushimi app that was fabulous. The place is a find and you won’t be disappointed.“

“sitting here waiting for my first order so i figured i'd give some feedback about the menu- specifically regarding the gluten free subject. let me just say- very unclear. so many things i'm interested in ordering but don't know if they are gluten free or not- for ex, wanted to order the poke bowl- says gluten free option. when went to add ingredients doesn't specify which are gluten free or not- like sauces & the marinades & a lot of seaweed salad isn't gf so etc. is like this for a lot of menu items not just poke. a lot of menu items you have to click on each one to see if it's gluten free as opposed to viewing all gf options at once as well. basically, it's not really worth the trouble if you're gluten free to come here unless you find your go-tos. this would be easier if you could heart your favorites so you could be prepared instead of having to look through everything every time. still need to work out a few kinks here to make this a lasting business imo, but cool idea. hope the co is willing to work on improvements. (giving food all stars for now but haven't tried it yet)“

“Been searching for good japanese restaurant for quite some time. Let me just say that Mikado far exceeded our expectations. From tge appetizers to dinner, it was exceptional. Our server, Michelle, was great. We had tge seared pepper tuna sushi app - so fresh and delicious. My husband had the hibachi with filet and lobster - amazing too. My son had the combo udon noodles - ate every bite! We had the tempura banana dessert - delicious as well as the chocolate mousse cake and coppa cafe. Amy at the front desk was so gracious and sweet. We will definitely be back many times. Give this place a try - you won’t be disappointed!!!“

“Popped in a hibachi lunch with my DW during the Sutumn Festival here in town. Excellent food, and the hibachi lunch is a steal at 16 bucks for the filet mignon. Not a typo, you read it right. A bargain. They serve it 11 to 3. It is pictured. Includes the miso soup, also pictured.

Friendly and courteous wait staff. The spicy yellowtail roll (pictured) was very good. The pictures do not do justice to the good presentation. The Wasabi kicked butt.

If you're in Moorestown for lunch, definitely give Akira2 a try. Great value for price paid.

Update April 2026...went for an early dinner and Akira did not disappoint. The Samurai roll is outstanding, and the hibachi seafood for 2 is a screaming bargain. Ingredients were fresh and tasty. You simply won't go wrong here. Important note: BYOB.“

“This is my honest review on Chang Wang restaurant including my experience with cooks and staff. Firstly let’s start with the food. I got 3 orders to try out and which all were recommended. Firstly we talk about Chow Mein, I rate it at 7.5/10 it was not bad at all. Tasted very good but lacked enough flavor. Next let’s talk about the order of white rice and Sesame chicken. I rate this 9/10 it was fresh and hot and absolutely tasty. Last order let’s talk about General TSO chicken also known as GrandFather chicken. I rate this 10/10 spot on delicious with perfect flavor and crispiness. It was hot and fresh and phenomenal. Looking forward to coming back and trying other orders out but based off these let me say highly recommend eating here and the food is delicious and fresh. Now let’s talk about the speed and skill set of the cooks, rate 10/10 very fast and they are focused and determined. The staff and the cooks all friendly and all very welcoming. We were just driving through and saw a large family celebrating a special occasion a date from Lakewood and a nice local family just grabbing dinner, like us.
