The bento box lunch special with soup was our usual order, and it was consistently satisfying — generous portions, fresh ingredients, and good variety in each box. It's the kind of reliable, well-priced lunch that makes it easy to become a regular.
What stood out most was the consistency. Whether we called ahead for takeout or sat down for a quick meal, the quality and service were dependable every time. Our whole office group kept coming back, which says a lot.
Docking one star only because I'd love to see a bit more variety rotated into the lunch specials, but that's a minor note. Overall, a solid neighborhood sushi spot that's perfect for a work lunch routine.“

It was absolutely amazing. It definitely was not what I am used to getting. The meat was tender and juicy with just the right amount of sauce. No grizzle. I ordered the fried rice with bean sprouts and egg. It was so delicious and perfectly made. My food arrived hot and was delivered by the most beautiful driver. “sitting here waiting for my first order so i figured i'd give some feedback about the menu- specifically regarding the gluten free subject. let me just say- very unclear. so many things i'm interested in ordering but don't know if they are gluten free or not- for ex, wanted to order the poke bowl- says gluten free option. when went to add ingredients doesn't specify which are gluten free or not- like sauces & the marinades & a lot of seaweed salad isn't gf so etc. is like this for a lot of menu items not just poke. a lot of menu items you have to click on each one to see if it's gluten free as opposed to viewing all gf options at once as well. basically, it's not really worth the trouble if you're gluten free to come here unless you find your go-tos. this would be easier if you could heart your favorites so you could be prepared instead of having to look through everything every time. still need to work out a few kinks here to make this a lasting business imo, but cool idea. hope the co is willing to work on improvements. (giving food all stars for now but haven't tried it yet)“

“The food??? AMAZING!! The chicken wings got so much flavor and the rice is perfectly seasoned not too much not too little. Now my favorite thing??? That shrimp tempura poke bowl is AMAZINGGG. I literally will gladly take that 16 minute drive any day. Edit: ordered again today, got the same bowl but with brown rice due to diabetes, was SUPER GOOD. Will never complain !“

“We have been here several times and always have the freshest and most delicious sushi! It’s by far our favorite sushi and we drive from Cherry Hill to Haddonfield because it’s so good. The service is always great and so sweet! Highly recommend!!!! I wish they would have a part tray made up of “regular rolls” that you can choose because I want to order several rolls every time we go.“

“Absolutely incredible experience here at Akira. Came on a Tuesday evening and the place was packed! Both sides (regular and hibachi). Our server was so sweet and was so fun with our son. The place is loud so our son fit in just nicely.

Food is absolutely incredible!! The little slivers of ginger were the best I’ve ever had. I just wish it was the coarse sea salt on the edamame instead of table salt.

“Been coming here for several years now and they never fail to disappoint. My mother had an issue with the food and they were kind regarding the matter (note: food is fine, my mom is just fussy about the container it comes in). Thank you for providing excellent service, food, and understanding and patience.

When eating in, we're served with cutlery and plates. Portions are filling and I always leave feeling fulfilled. Go to is usually two shrimp rolls, egg drop soup, and shrimp lomein/fried rice.“

The only thing is, they brought out the food as it was being done. meaning some people on the table was waiting while others were eating. They should bring the food out all together and not 1 by 1.“
