“Wow. Some of the freshest sushi I have had in a while. I had fun trying different things with the all you can eat offering. I definitely made sure to get my moneys worth without wasting a drop. I did have to wait a bit to get seated, even though I was the only one eating in, so I took off one Star.“

“This was my go-to spot for delicious takeout food when I lived in Philadelphia. I'd drive out of my way to pick this up. The mango basil fried rice is amazing! I also liked the hunan shrimp. I moved away years ago but got some food again last week when visiting the area, it is still just as yummy as I remember it! The inside is bit rough around the edges but that's normal for takeout spots. Whenever I'm in the area the mango basil fried rice is a must get! Definitely a hidden a gem!!! 😋“

The teriyaki salmon is outstanding, and the string beans are amazing—The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the quality is consistently excellent. We’re so lucky to have Philly Lobster nearby. “Ate there last night. Everything was delicious, and I'd love to go back in the future. It seemed like the chef did creative riffs on things that made them interesting but still recognizable. To give but one example, I normally don't think of chirashizushi as something special, but the chef made a mini chirashizushi that was absolutely stellar! Also, the menu seems to start with a bunch of starters and such, and you think it's done, but that's when the sushi part starts! We were chatting with the couple around the corner of the counter from us, and it was fun seeing their reactions when they tried these amazing dishes!“

The dining space is nicely prepared and the room ready for anyone to come and dine.“

“My family and I had an incredible dining experience tonight at Umai. We had a special, Kinmedai aka Golden Eye Snapper that was so fresh and tasty, out of this world good! We also had a treat with broiled tuna cheek that was also outstanding. Otoro was so velvety and rich, spicy hotate, sweet ebi, unagi, fried crabs, incredible sushi rolls, savory Akadashi (my son ordered a second it was so good) and everything else we ordered tonight was just incredible. “I'm shocked I do not have a photo of the Salmon Bento that I have gotten at least 20 times already. I usually have it delivered via Uber Eats and it's so good that I dive right in when I get it! It comes with perfectly cooked salmon on a bed of sauteed broccoli and onions in a yummy teriyaki sauce. The sides are shrimp and veggie tempura, gyoza, California rolls, and white rice. You know when you find that one go-to restaurant that eases even the worst day at work? Sakura is that restaurant for me!

If you want the bento at a cheaper price - try the lunch specials; it's equally delicious!

I highly recommend this place and will continue to order hopefully for years to come!
