“I’d heard about Ronin from a previous manager who would order their sushi and it always looked good. I was in the mood for Ramen and they came up in my search. It was a small shop, nicely decorated. Most people came for take out, there was a couple dining in when I arrived so it was nice and quiet. The food service was quick, everything we ordered was delicious and flavorful. My bf ordered the shrimp and veggie tempura bento box, and a chicken katsu bao special. I ordered the Crazy Boy roll special and Shimp Tom Yum ramen. Only minor negative was when we arrived 90% of the restaurant was empty and we were told to sit at the sushi bar because they were expecting a wave of reservations. However by the time we finished our meal the restaurant was 80% empty so we definitely could have sat at a table. The menu has a lot of good options so we will definitely return.“

The atmosphere is sophisticated and feels very up scale.The food was fabulous in taste, portion, and visual appeal.I personally had shrimp and scallop teriyaki and it was stunning. The teriyaki was sweet and not pungent. The scallops were cooked to perfection. I was also very pleased with the shrimp shumai. I very much recommend this establishment. Their staff were very friendly and courteous. Our waiter was very diligent, knowledgeable, and above all kind. He had wonderful recommendations which did not disappoint. “I’ve been coming to Blue Fin for years (even when they were located previously on Germantown Pike). After all these years, the food and the service has not changed – it’s wonderful. I had to write a review and really sing Blue Fin’s praises after my most recent visit. For my 40th birthday last week, I wanted my birthday celebration at Blue Fin with my closest friends. There were 7 of us and we were really loud (so sorry)! The chef brought out the sushi and very politely, asked us to bring the volume down. He was super sweet with his approach. The restaurant closed at 8:30 and we were there till 9:30, everyone had left.I really could not thank Blue Fin enough for their patience on a loud Wednesday night. They really went above and beyond.The sushi is dynamite too, best in the area. My go to’s for the last 15 years: Wasabi shumai, Davitch roll and No Name II.Thank you BlueFin, for everything! (PS, we did tip well.. a dollar a yell).. lol“

“We had previously always gone to Vic's in Rosemont... (ie Near Villanova). This location in Havertown is fantastic. They are reasonably priced, but the food is always fresh and super good. I highly recommend the three roll deal :-) Their menu is expanding as well. Outside of traditional sushi, they have other entrées as well. I was shocked at how good some of the food was. I love a nice raw yolk slathered on my rice - a real treat. Definitely order this with your sushi instead of eating just sushi. Definitely pricey af. The rice was a regular portion for $16 before tax. That's meh. The sushi is expensive but all sushi is. Honestly it was so good but really expensive. Not sure how I feel about that. “Located in a small strip center with a small parking lot and across the street from a much bigger lot, Osushi is a gem. We arrived for a late lunch. We started with the tofu miso soup (would prefer more tofu) that was tasty and a larger than typical serving. The tuna dumpling, tricolor tobiko roll, and the Naruto roll are pictured. The tuna dumpling included mango which compliments the overall taste. The visual appeal of every dish was outstanding (see the attached pictures). “For Valentine's Day, I wanted to celebrate by going to a sushi restaurant. I'd never been here before, but I'd heard good things from a couple of friends and decided to give it a go. When I came, I was greeted by a young girl, who was very friendly and welcoming! Although it took us a while to be seated, the servers were very nice and made sure to check in on me frequently. Like the service, the food was also great! The stone pot bibimbap was delicious, and anyone who goes there should definitely try it out. Overall, 10/10 experience!“

“I was so impressed with this Sushi place. They are located inside of the Assi food court. It was my son's 8th birthday and all he wanted was sushi. We could not find anyone that was open for dine-in. We arrived around 3pm after much searching and they were sweet and so kind. They rushed us out a huge sushi Platter so we would eat our ridiculously late lunch. All of the sushi was delicious but it was hands down the best prepared Eel we've ever had. I don't know when we'll be back in this area, I do know if we are we'll be pre-ordering a Platter to pick up!“

“We love OOKA and travel almost an hour for our meals here. The cost is always high for our party of 6 so we reserve our trips. Food is always excellent and I have never had a complaint about any of our choices. We went last week for my son's birthday. Food was excellent as usual for all choices of sushi and hibachi. This trip though the floors were sticking to our shoes all the way through the restaurant. Restooms could use a good corner cleaning. And surprisingly, after the meal we had to get up and go to the counter twice to get service to finalize our visit. It was a weeknight so while it was busy it was not over packed when we were there. Still excellent food, just hope the service returns to normal next trip as this was not our normal experience here.“

So much so, that she plans on bringing her crew there for their next hang. We ordered from the lunch specials- eel for me with particularly tasty miso soup- I could smell the smoky scent that tells me it will be flavorful & it was. I HAD to have the spicy tuna sandwich too-it’s still as delicious as I remember from quite a few years ago. My aunt had a beef teriyaki bento box from the bottom of the lunch specials list on the menu & she enjoyed that & everything else in the Boxed Lunch. I let her try my eel and the marinated daikon from the platter & she was surprised at how yummy they both were. Portions were generous too. The staff were very nice, and attentive. We couldn’t have had a nicer experience. We’ll be back much sooner next time.“
