“I’ve been coming to Blue Fin for years (even when they were located previously on Germantown Pike). After all these years, the food and the service has not changed – it’s wonderful. I had to write a review and really sing Blue Fin’s praises after my most recent visit. For my 40th birthday last week, I wanted my birthday celebration at Blue Fin with my closest friends. There were 7 of us and we were really loud (so sorry)! The chef brought out the sushi and very politely, asked us to bring the volume down. He was super sweet with his approach. The restaurant closed at 8:30 and we were there till 9:30, everyone had left.I really could not thank Blue Fin enough for their patience on a loud Wednesday night. They really went above and beyond.The sushi is dynamite too, best in the area. My go to’s for the last 15 years: Wasabi shumai, Davitch roll and No Name II.Thank you BlueFin, for everything! “Location a bit sketchy and there is not many seats inside but the sushi is good quality for its price point.The salmon roll is $10 at time of writing, slightly more expensive than nearby alternatives but seems to be expertly prepared.The braised pork belly buns are delicious and come with thick slabs of pork meat.The fried rice rolls appetizers are also quick good and does their job to stimulate the appetite.The cha shu ramen itself is slightly spicy and includes a sliced slab of corn which is an interesting choice, at first glance, it seems a bit like instant ramen but upon tasing the noodles are certainly higher quality than that of instant ramen. The eggs are hard boiled and reminiscent of soy sauced braised salty tea eggs, the broth is flavorful but nothing too special and the same can be said for the cha shu pork pieces. Overall 4/5. The ramen passable but the sushi is the main highlight of this place.“

I came towards the night my first time with my bf. wish I got my server's name but she was very attentive and encouraged me to try things in my dish i kept avoiding lol. We got gyoza which is made with chicken (big plus I avoid pork) spicy tuna roll, salmon teriyaki and the Gyu Don. Had to come again the same week. This time ordered the Fuki Spicy Miso Pork Ramen and replaced it with beef. Same server w/ a younger man, still a great time.“
“Located in a small strip center with a small parking lot and across the street from a much bigger lot, Osushi is a gem. We arrived for a late lunch. We started with the tofu miso soup (would prefer more tofu) that was tasty and a larger than typical serving. The tuna dumpling, tricolor tobiko roll, and the Naruto roll are pictured. The tuna dumpling included mango which compliments the overall taste. The visual appeal of every dish was outstanding (see the attached pictures). We ordered the drunken noodles (which I was so excited about and met my expectations), tofu fried rice, crab rangoon, and a few sushi rolls. My man usually says his food is fine, however, he said this place is BANGIN which amazed me. Atmosphere is gorgeous. Service is so sweet and kind although I do think our waitress could have been a bit more attentive to details like water refills, empty plates, etc…I didn’t even mind though because she was so sweet and amazing in every other way. “This is my go-to place for special occasions, like getting an A (or even a B+) in my Penn Law courses. CONGRATULATIONS to the owner for an incredible four years! I've been enjoying Kaseiki's sashimi bowls since the start of the pandemic and have always had wonderful experiences with them. The ingredients are always fresh and even the basic bowls, like their signature Anniversary Bowl, are very artistically done and taste great. I highly recommend the Second Anniversary Bowl, an upgrade that includes delicately prepared scallop, the sweetest shitake mushrooms you've ever had, and mouth-watering, delicious O-toro! The prices are high, but the quality is also high, so it's definitely worth it! Looking forward to enjoying a Chirashi bowl in person someday.“

Most people came for take out, there was a couple dining in when I arrived so it was nice and quiet. The food service was quick, everything we ordered was delicious and flavorful. My bf ordered the shrimp and veggie tempura bento box, and a chicken katsu bao special. I ordered the Crazy Boy roll special and Shimp Tom Yum ramen. So much so, that she plans on bringing her crew there for their next hang. We ordered from the lunch specials- eel for me with particularly tasty miso soup- I could smell the smoky scent that tells me it will be flavorful & it was. I HAD to have the spicy tuna sandwich too-it’s still as delicious as I remember from quite a few years ago. My aunt had a beef teriyaki bento box from the bottom of the lunch specials list on the menu & she enjoyed that & everything else in the Boxed Lunch. I let her try my eel and the marinated daikon from the platter & she was surprised at how yummy they both were. Portions were generous too. The staff were very nice, and attentive. We couldn’t have had a nicer experience. We’ll be back much sooner next time.“

“I was so impressed with this Sushi place. They are located inside of the Assi food court. It was my son's 8th birthday and all he wanted was sushi. We could not find anyone that was open for dine-in. We arrived around 3pm after much searching and they were sweet and so kind. They rushed us out a huge sushi Platter so we would eat our ridiculously late lunch. All of the sushi was delicious but it was hands down the best prepared Eel we've ever had. I don't know when we'll be back in this area, I do know if we are we'll be pre-ordering a Platter to pick up!“

“Hidden gem! We were randomly searching for a simple sushi dinner and found this spot in google which is not that far from home. The food was amazing especially for the price that they offer. We were doubting at first because the restaurant looks quite and blah but when we got our order and tasted it, it was really good. “We love OOKA and travel almost an hour for our meals here. The cost is always high for our party of 6 so we reserve our trips. Food is always excellent and I have never had a complaint about any of our choices. We went last week for my son's birthday. Food was excellent as usual for all choices of sushi and hibachi. This trip though the floors were sticking to our shoes all the way through the restaurant. Restooms could use a good corner cleaning. And surprisingly, after the meal we had to get up and go to the counter twice to get service to finalize our visit. It was a weeknight so while it was busy it was not over packed when we were there. Still excellent food, just hope the service returns to normal next trip as this was not our normal experience here.“

Only minor negative was when we arrived 90% of the restaurant was empty and we were told to sit at the sushi bar because they were expecting a wave of reservations. However by the time we finished our meal the restaurant was 80% empty so we definitely could have sat at a table. The menu has a lot of good options so we will definitely return.“
