“One evening, I passed by and decided to try the food. At every Japanese restaurant I visit, I usually order the salmon teriyaki, so I ordered it here as well. It was the best salmon teriyaki I’ve ever had — absolutely delicious.
The staff was very nice and friendly. He handled the hosting, serving, and even made the sushi himself. Great food and great service!“

“They have good seafood of course but also a great selection of very good fresh produce in a small place. Oh and also a small selection of nice prepared food. If you want a really quick place to get something to cook for dinner and replenish your fresh fruit and veges this is the place to go.“

“Koi is an amazing place! It is some of the best sushi my husband has ever tried, and it comes complete with a special design by their sushi chef. This family owned restaurant has multiple member of their family, and it truly adds a personal touch. Joey was our server last night, and it was great to learn more about the restaurant - plus he made us laugh and just made our experience even better! Their outdoor dining is an awesome option - and the setting truly can’t be beat! We can’t wait to come back!“

“Great food. Best at Specialty rolls rather than classics tho. Chipped dishware is way too common though. that exposed ceramic can cause silica contamination and speed up damage to the dishes or cause mold growth. Can also be kinda loud. But good service and food.“

“My daughter loves sushi and since we were in the neighborhood I found this place online. She had the sushi entree and I had shrimp teriyaki. She liked her food mine was ok . Shrimp were small and a bit over cooked . Besides that the atmosphere was clean and relaxed and the servers were polite and very attentive. We will be back again . Thanks 💚“

“The fish is always of a very high quality. The sushi rice varies from good some days to average other days (when average it appears to be slightly undercooked). My opnion only.“

“I ordered the small sushi sashimi combo. It was a good amount of food and fresh. I've gotten sushi catered from here for years and it never disappoints. There's no other place that can beat the price especially for the amount that they give. The owner is great. My catered orders were always ready on time and never had any issues.“

“Ate there last night. Everything was delicious, and I'd love to go back in the future. It seemed like the chef did creative riffs on things that made them interesting but still recognizable. To give but one example, I normally don't think of chirashizushi as something special, but the chef made a mini chirashizushi that was absolutely stellar! Also, the menu seems to start with a bunch of starters and such, and you think it's done, but that's when the sushi part starts! We were chatting with the couple around the corner of the counter from us, and it was fun seeing their reactions when they tried these amazing dishes!“

“Toyosu offers attractive, delicious sushi, sashimi, and poke, with a focus on take-out customers—if you opt to eat at one of the few tables available, you will still receive and consume your food in plastic containers. However, you probably won’t mind because you’ll be too busy devouring crisply presented morsels of fish, prepared by aces with big-league experience.“

“I went for a dinner. I was impressed with authentic Japanese taste offered here. Portion size is very satisfying. Good sushi, ramen noodles were authentic. Pork slices on top were delicious. I ordered takeouts of guidon and curry. I'd come back there when I am in the area next time. It seems majority of people are ordering pickups. Many customers came to pick up their orders. The dining space is nicely prepared and the room ready for anyone to come and dine.“

Even Hawaii doesn’t offer such delicious sushi without making you pay 100’s of dollars for even the mediocre. Cho Cho San is incredible, can’t give it anything less than a 10/10“

“Beautiful decor, very cozy and ambient. Our server was very nice and helpful, as my daughter and I have never been there. Chef Tony made us delicious sushi rolls and plated the sashimi beautifully. We had dessert, they have a variety of mochi and I had the tempura ice cream.. omgoodness it was so delicious! If you're in the area and in the mood for good food and relaxing atmosphere, stop in and tell them I sent you!“

“Our first time, We got 6 rolls some sushi and some pan seared dumplings. OMG SO GOOD, we loved everything! It was so delicious! The Tuna, Salmon, eel, shrimp everything was so fresh it melted in your mouth, absolutely amazing! Even the presentation made my mouth water!
Definitely our new go to for sushi takeout.

“Takumi is truly a gem. The sushi is consistently pristine, incredibly fresh, and exceptionally delicious, especially for the price. What really sets it apart are the thoughtful little touches—delicate dabs of caviar and other unexpected accents that enhance and elevate each piece without overpowering the fish.

My friend and I started with the oysters and tuna tasting platter. The oysters were exquisite, and the tuna was, as always, exceptional. We followed with the sushi and sashimi combination, adding salmon, king salmon, and chutoro and Otoro. Heavenly doesn’t even begin to describe it. Every bite was beautifully balanced and absolutely delicious.

The cocktails are equally well crafted, and we ended the meal with sorbet—lemon for my friend and coconut for me. The perfect, refreshing finish to an outstanding meal.

Favorites for me are the striped bass carpaccio, tuna tataki, and the deluxe sushi/sashimi platter (if you are hungry). Guarantee you leave full! Sometimes they’ll even give you house made sake free or charge!“

“Reliably good Japanese offering in Ardmore. Very nice ambiance in which to enjoy attentive and gracious service. Cuisine is fresh, well prepared and tasty. A pretty extensive array of menu choices. Beer served cold with an iced glass. Nice! White wine a little less chilled than ideal.“

“Although it’s named “to-go” there are actually 2 tables inside for dine in with 4 chairs each. I got the lunch special and they brought my food out and gave me iced water with it! The sushi was fresh and delicious. The man who brought my food out even turned the fan on and put it in my direction. They are all super friendly! Not very crowded, service was fast, the sashimi and tempura was fresh and delicious. Friendly staff. Overall calm atmosphere. All the seating are booths fit for 4 people, so keep this in mind for larger parties.“
