“I have been going to SU20 for almost two years now (usually 2-3 times per month, sometimes more) and it is definitely the BEST, and almost even more importantly, most CONSISTENT sushi I have ever had in my life. This establishment and everyone who works there is an absolute gem for the Blue Bell and Ambler area. I personally believe that SU20’s sushi is better than the high end sushi restaurants in the Philly downtown area (at least based on the ones I have visited) — including some that were under review and successfully recognized for the Michelin Guide in November 2025. I’m not saying that out of disrespect, but simply to acknowledge how much of a hidden gem I believe SU20 truly is.

The fish quality, consistency, and knife work is stellar across the board — I have had almost every single specialty roll on the menu and they are all incredible. Some favorites include: the Fiesta, Blue Bell, Empire, and Sunshine Rolls — freshest ingredients every time, without exception. The quality control really shines through with the sashimi! It’s unbelievable how full and satisfied, yet light, I still feel after each meal I have at SU20. The appetizers and other meal items are great too… I would recommend the Tuna Carpaccio and Tuna Tataki if you’re looking for small plates.

It is worth noting that the “SU20 Roll” has become my absolute favorite item I’ve ever had at a restaurant. It is a fried roll that tiptoes across a fine line of decadence, freshness, creativity, and nuance. My wife and I get the SU20 roll to end each meal because it’s just that satisfying— you NEED it to try it. This will sound like an exaggeration…. but if I had to pick my last my bite of food on this Earth, the SU20 Roll would likely earn that order.

To round out the entire experience, SU20 even has a variety of delicious Japanese desserts that I believe are also made in house. The crepe cakes and cheesecakes both display a master class on maximizing pastry texture and flavor in a lighthearted way — my personal favorite is the Strawberry Crepe Cake. If I have room after dinner, I love taking one to go!

“We tried Kungfu Sushi for the first time today. We stumbled on it by accident as it is located in an unassuming strip mall. We sampled several items including the Gyoza, Crab Rangoon, and assorted rolls -Ring of Fire, Crazy Monkey, Crabmeat Lover, Mango, Rainbow, and Dragon. Everything was freshly made and delicious! The service was quick and the servers were attentive. We would highly recommend Kungfu Sushi and we will be back!“

“Great food. Best at Specialty rolls rather than classics tho. Chipped dishware is way too common though. that exposed ceramic can cause silica contamination and speed up damage to the dishes or cause mold growth. Can also be kinda loud. But good service and food.“

This family owned restaurant has multiple member of their family, and it truly adds a personal touch. “My family and I had an incredible dining experience tonight at Umai. We had a special, Kinmedai aka Golden Eye Snapper that was so fresh and tasty, out of this world good! “Although it’s named “to-go” there are actually 2 tables inside for dine in with 4 chairs each. I got the lunch special and they brought my food out and gave me iced water with it! The sushi was fresh and delicious. The man who brought my food out even turned the fan on and put it in my direction. They are all super friendly! “I'm shocked I do not have a photo of the Salmon Bento that I have gotten at least 20 times already. I usually have it delivered via Uber Eats and it's so good that I dive right in when I get it! It comes with perfectly cooked salmon on a bed of sauteed broccoli and onions in a yummy teriyaki sauce. The sides are shrimp and veggie tempura, gyoza, California rolls, and white rice. You know when you find that one go-to restaurant that eases even the worst day at work? Sakura is that restaurant for me!

If you want the bento at a cheaper price - try the lunch specials; it's equally delicious!

I highly recommend this place and will continue to order hopefully for years to come!

“Portion sizing are very generous. Food was flavorful. I had general tso’s and my friend had Szechuan beef. Egg rolls were nice and crispy on outside, doughy on inside. Didn’t try the sushi but definitely not a bad spot for Chinese food!“

After ordering the sashimi lover plate, both myself and a family member got stomach aches, which made me concerned about the fish quality. The texture was also a bit strange on some of the slices. Otherwise, the food tasted great but since it is quite pricey, I am not so sure I will be back soon. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice, but it did smell a bit fishy.“
