The atmosphere is friendly and laid-back. We received the food approximately 15-20 minutes after ordering; I found the dishes to be mediocre. I did love the Israeli sweet beverages they offer though!Parking: There is a parking lot right in front of the store.
We were just passing through Philadelphia and stopped at Star of David for dinner before getting back on the road. It was a busy Sunday night and we didn't know what to expect. We were happily surprised. The staff was friendly, aimed to please and from the way that they handled "family hour" with aplomb, you wouldn't know that we walked in at the busiest time of the week. Vegetarian options: The food is always spectacular, delicious,, clean. Authentic Israeli food. There is a difference between Middle Eastern, food and Israeli food. And you know the difference once you have eaten here.
