“Food was great and it’s worth getting the bed he experience since I didn’t know what to get on the menu. The tasting was amazing and I’m leaving the restaurant STUFFED. more than the food I would say the service left me amazed. I’ve never received such attention and kindness from everyone working here. I can’t wait to come again. They’re so attentive and the atmosphere was nice too. It’s small but you’re not that close to people.“
“This place offers some of the most delicious and incredible vegan/vegetarian items ever!! Jeff, the owner/chef, is super creative and talented! I had the yuba hoagie, which was so divine that I finished the whole thing! If you love garlic, the toum dipping sauce that comes with the za'atar fries is unreal! I also had the cauliflower salad with the tahini dressing. The combo was unmatched! Oh, another one of my favorites is the patty melt!! Andy makes them like no other!Go try them out before they close! But hopefully enough people go so they don't close!!!“
“I live on 2nd street and have been coming here since they opened. I ordered this sandwich now 4 times and every time it is better. It’s the S10 Roast Beef Hot sliced thin, cheddar cheese and horseradish. It also comes with cucumber, lettuce and tomato that I don’t get. If you like roast beef this is the best around. It’s better than PARCS lunch toast beef sandwich. A must try!!!!!! You will not be disappointed. Word of caution, the horseradish has a kick to it….“
“The outdoor seating area in the rear of the restaurant gives you the feel of hanging out in someone's personal garden hideaway.Parking: The restaurant is located in a very busy section of the city, very close to both I-95 and 76 highway systems.“
“I'd give more stars if I could. Dinner was so fantastic that we came back for lunch the next day, and they did not disappoint. So far we've tried General Tso Setian, Sesame Setian, Chinese Mixed Veggies, Broccoli and Garlic Sauce, Hot and Sour Soup, Miso Soup, Spring Rolls and Scallion Pancakes. Legit every bite was delicious. I say so far because we will absolutely be back, and I can't wait. I just wish I had room for desert!!“
“I had one of the burritos (sweet potato), and it was unbelievable--really one of the first genuinely new + good flavor combinations I've tasted in awhile. (The size was also huge.) This is a fabulous neighborhood vegetarian spot to support!“
“So happy this place opened up! The food is amazing, and I'm not vegan. I recommend pretty much everything, but their soups are most excellent. As is the garbanzo burger with vegan cheese! But turn up the heat, PLEASE! It's way too cold there to eat comfortably for lunch. We ate and left fast. Y'all need to come a bit early and warm it up!“
“Came here for a Valentine’s Day tasting menu and was blown away. My partner picked the restaurant and I went in blind, knowing nothing. Incredible experience. The food was outstanding and made right in front of us. Max is a wonderful chef who worked magic to provide an incredible tasting menu by himself. Will be going back, and bringing friends.A very clear example of “you get what you pay for”.“
“After more than 10 times of traveling to Thailand I stopped counting. The food here is great, not too authentic but it has its charm. The tung thung is a must, made to perfection massaman was great, same for the slow roasted lamb. The raw mushroom dish was basically all the mushrooms out there in vegetables salad, Didn’t work out for us.Cocktail menu is decent, can be more to match the Thai food.Alli the waitress and the other staff were very nice and friendly. We’ll definitely be back.“
“Had an amazing date with my boyfriend here tonight. Fantastic atmosphere and great staff. From being greeted at the door by a very helpful staff member named Scarlett, to our server Sophie who was attentive, considerate, and amazing, to mike the game keeper. Everything was amazing. Couldnt ask for a more professional and welcoming place.“
“My first time here. I met a friend for lunch. I had the burger it was really good. The place was pretty busy for a Sunday afternoon. I definitely want to come back and try dinner there's a few items on dinner menu I saw that looked good. Highly recommend it.“
“Oh my oh my, such a great culinary experience last night. We love Asian food, and were in the mood for some Korean this time. I didn't want Korean BBQ so that limited some of our options. We got there around 7:45pm and it was still a 20 min wait. No reservations , so first come first served. Ambiance : Nice, cozy, casual setting and the restaurant was adequately staffed - I only say that because I've been to places over the last 2 years where places have been severely understaffed. ++ Appetizers : Fried potstickers. Perfect. Good blend of veggies and the right level of crispiness. A slow dunk or bath in the soy sauce made for a great beginning to our meal. Mains++ now the fun stuff begins La Galbi - this was the marinated beef ribs in the house sauce. It came on a sizzling plate. The spices and taste was subtle. The pieces were chopped finely and was an easy going first bite of the entrees. Jeyuk Dubu Kimchi - Marinated pork loin and kimchi, stir fried with hot pepper and dobu. By the time this dish came, we realized that we were starting to get filled and we had ordered too much. My wife claims that it was intentional and she wanted to box them and eat during the week. This dish was how you'd expect it to be. The pork and the kimchi was a perfect blend. The dobu was so tender and soft, probably will make me rethink my dislike for tofu. We asked for super spicy. Jeyuk Dolpan Bibimbap - Probably the best dish we ordered. Stir fried spicy pork over vegetables served with rice on a pot. If rice did not contain so many carbs, I'd have loved to eat this dish more frequently. With that being said, I loved the way our server prepped this for us. She mixed the pork, veggies and the rice to deliver a well balanced blend of the final dish. The rice was moist, the pork was juicy and well marinated delivering a totally sublime dish. Oh, and the pre-apprtizers (kimchi, fish, egg, salad, and some meat) was also delicious. I'd totally recommend this place to anyone who likes a good Korean meal.“
“wow, I just discovered this hidden gem right off temple campus and with one visit it’s already my favorite restaurant in Philly, the food was so amazingly flavorful and I love the vegetarian options. The service was phenomenal, I felt like I was at a 5 star restaurant. The boy with the Afro was extremely nice and made sure I knew of ALL of my options and even helped me get $2 off my order since it was my first time. I highly recommend this spot to anyone who wants to grab a bite to eat and do some work or have a nice catch up with friends. The environment and food are top tier.“
“I love to see more vegan options in NW Philly and Volstead is definitely a great addition. Their loaded cheesesteak fries are delicious I just wish the cheese was layered in the fries so it was just the top layer that gets cheesy. Would love to see more veggie options for sides/starters besides fried food or side salad. The bartender was super nice!“
“Earl makes incredible food and smoothies. I would highly recommend the vegetarian plates as well as the salmon rice plate. The fresh made smoothies are delightful. Best patties in the world, the crust is perfect and spices are perfectly balanced. This is also one of the cleanest restaurants I've ever seen. They run a tight shop and your money and tips are worth it here.“
“There was a mishap with my DoorDash order and I called the restaurant. They were so kind and apologetic and sent me my meal with an extra thai tea. It was so sweet and the hostess I spoke with on the phone was so kind and helpful! Highly recommend them for great food and great service.“
“Delicious, ? ? spicy, savory. Vegan or not the food is wowzers! This time we got jerk chicken platter and BBQ chicken platter with sides of sweet potato, plantains, collard greens and cabbage. My husband asked more than once is this "chicken?" Soooo good.“
“Stopped in for breakfast and coffees when catching up with friends. Coffee was excellent, but the standout items were the vegan breakfast sandwiches and baked goods. Soundtrack was fun- spent awhile trying to see who could ID the songs first.“
“I've ordered from Bar Bombon from UberEats before, but eating at the restaurant was a different experience. The food came out quick and was amazing! I definitely enjoyed the "fish" tacos and philly "cheesesteak" empanadas. I will definitely be back!“
“Desmond was so sweet, friendly and helpful! The food was fresh, tasty and clearly of good quality. We devoured a basic B with cheese meal with sweet potato fries and a kale lemonade, and a smokehouse burger with with a side of fries and onion rings. No joke everything was delicious. I will happily come back. Also for such a tiny shop they have a beautiful seating area to the right of the counter. We loved it!“
“I ordered the hipcity ranch and I asked to sub the ranch for the spicy sauce but I think they may have forgotten because it still has ranch but either way, it was sooooo good! Don’t think about it… just try it!!! You’ll be blown away.“
“Great place to take small kids for early Saturday lunch! They were entertained while mom and dad got to enjoy good food and drinks. Restrooms are very parent/kid/baby friendly. One note was that I didn't realize the video games at the table cost $2.99 until we got the bill. Worth it, though!“
“Nice neighborhood coffee shop. I passed this place several times but never had the opportunity to order. Mostly this place was closed due to limited hours. So note the hours before coming in.Anyways, super friendly people. They let my pup come in. They have variety of coffee and matcha and some bakery goods. We ordered matcha Latte and customized it with syrup of Rose and Pistachio. The taste was very nice. I had the same drink at One Shot before, but this place was better. And from a price standpoint, it's slightly cheaper than One Shot. Bakery good were nice. The kid loved it.Overall, I would recommend this place if you are around and craving some nice coffee.PS: They had great Vietnamese Coffee, so hopefully they will bring it back.“
“Staff is usually nice, it can be pretty busy during meal times but not too bad otherwise. I enjoy the customizable option on the menu and that they have tons of healthy options. I love the bean burger and the Caesar salad. Not really a restaurant place more of a takeout or grab a quick lunch spot.“
“This is just more proof that Little Moirs is the best food in town. Differs from Food Shack and Leftovers but not one iota of deliciousness loss. BEST ever quick lunch and if you skip catering for the holidays or a celebration you are seriously losing out!“
“This location has single handedly restored my faith in Sweet Green. For about the past two years, I’ve had too many bad SG experiences to count (looking at you Williamsburg BK and West Village NY). It’s made me very synical and resort to competitors like Chopt and JustSalad. The salad I am eating right now, however, reminds me of the magic I experienced the first time I ever tried Sweet Green at the original location in Georgetown. It can’t be beat. The Kale doesn’t have huge stems, the service I received from the tall man with long dread locks was incredible. The salad is impeccable - 10/10.With locations like this, there just might yet be hope for Sweet Green.PS the guy with the dreadlocks was seriously amazing - give him a promotion.“
“1) If you are reading this in Feb of 2023, they have an amazing $8.99 price for ALL salads with the use of their reusable bowl program!2) I really love this location. The food is always fresh and delicious and the staff are prompt and friendly (even when it has obviously been a long day. Be kind to folks in customer-facing positions!)3) I've been going here for years and I plan to continue doing so for as long as I work in the area. Best wishes to Angie and everyone else at Just Salad :)“
“Called for delivery..placed my order .the girl told me it would be 45mins..called back cause I wanted to get a menu..I was ordering from the menu online..so I called back and as soon as i hung up..there was a knock on the door..it was them..that's right 5 mins..from the time i called .my food was delivered..don't ask me how,,cause i dont know..the food was great and the price was resonable ..this is the place to order from...?Dietary restrictions: Great selection and good price“
“This particular honeygrow is leaps and bounds above the rest. When I walk through the Wayne honeygrow doors, the lovely ladies behind the counter greet me with a “welcome to honeygrow” that I could only liken to the warmth of a mother’s hug. Their smiles are genuine, and they have a love for life. Bowls here are made with love.To hear the ladies banter joyfully as they craft my bowl reinforces the authenticity of the experience. They’re the gift that keeps on giving, and they leave me longing to return. This crew of employees should be the subject of a case study for all other honeygrow establishments. These ladies deserve life- long pension plans.“
“I have been waiting to try this and decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did. Let me tell you the salad was huge. Their portion size is amazing compared to their competitors saladworks, cava and greens. I customized my salad to what I like it comes with bread and then I added the cookie which was delicious:) I met the owner/manager who was willing to help people learn how to order and even helped clean up a table. The atmosphere is a quick healthy option with a warm feel. You can make two salads out of your meal!!“
“I'm a lil upset cuz everytime I come here there's always a problem. It's hit or miss with customer service. I thought I'd give it another shot but everytime I come there'd always something wrong with my order. I ordered a large meal deal and got a small drink and small fry. The woman who took my order looked miserable. I work in the restaurant industry. I know how hard it can be but it's every time I come. I'm so upset. Cuz it takes me 40 mins to drive into the city just to get a vegan cheesesteak. :(Food is amazing. Service could be better.“
“I love honeygrow and one of the managers Eric was so amazing and Nice and so good at his job. Everyone there makes you feel at home and always accommodates whatever you want or need out of your meal. If you go to the king of Prussia Honeygrow, you won’t regret it!“
“Great selection of wholesome and flavorful options for a very reasonable price. I tried their sushi bowl and the apple orange muffin and both were excellent. The sushi bowl lacked greens for me (too much rice vs veggie) but flavor-wise I really enjoyed it. All of their cooked toppings (roasted potatoes, miso tofu, cauliflower, etc) were well seasoned. The muffin was lovely. Bursting with flavor and not too sweet. The pieces of apple in it were a nice touch.Highly recommend a stop if you’re looking for tasty and wholesome vegan food in Philly.Vegetarian options: Most of the menu is vegan“
“How does one describe some of the best pizza they’ve had in years? &Pizza’s New G pizza! I am in town for the holiday weekend and didn’t quite feel like a full on dinner. So, I asked the head of security (Tony - DoubleTree) where I could just sit and eat some pizza, nothing fancy. He pointed me one block over and one block down. It reminded me of a warehouse type building. The young gentleman who made my pizza was so nice…plus, he made a really great pizza! His mom AND bosses should be proud! Yes, he gave me his name, but I forgot it. I wanted to eat the entire pie, but decided to bring the rest back to Tony. This was the BEST $15 (tip included) that I’ve spent on food in a long time! I can’t say how good/bad the other locations are because I haven’t been to them. This location? 15th Street, ah mazing!! I’ve already recommended it!!“
“I'm not the healthiest person but I love a good salad and dressing. This place reintroduced me to quinoa which made the salad more filling. I even enjoyed the bread. The salad was fresh and the chicken tasted seasoned. What more could I say....“
“I come to this location 4 times A week mid day for lunch, Both managers no me by my First Name and always greet me with a smile and respect, and always making sure my order is correct. And there team following the management, everyone takes pride in the work here ,making in a great experience for me ,one of the main cook knows my daily order that I get ,and takes lead on preparing my food to perfection.Great location for a healthy lunch ,No complaints.“
“build your own bougie pizza, thin crust style. They could have been more generous w the toppings and I feel like blaze pizza has more veggie options. It’s around $10 for one but one might not be enough for one person. Tastes great tho, esp the American honey “
“Go-to food truck spot behind the design school on Penn's campus. Or on Spruce. I like coming here on cooler days because the food is warm and filling. I don't have a favorite because everything they have recommended hits the spot - make sure to ask for recommendations. Friendly duo.“
“Food was delicious as always...especially the edamame dumplings. But the hostess was in a bad mood. She didnt greet us when we walked in, she didnt say welcome to True foods, she didnt say follow me when showing us to our table, she didnt say enjoy your meal when we sat down etc. I expect this at Dennys, not when I pay $100 for a 2 person lunch at True foods“
“We use Nanas for our Shabbat catering and our students LOVE the food quality and the creativity of the menu. Nanas is such a pleasure to work with, they are very responsive and accommodating to our ideas and any allergies we have. Cannot recommend them enough!!!“
