“This was my second visit to Ripplewood Whiskey & Craft, and my first time experiencing their happy hour—and it did not disappoint. The menu had a great variety, and I enjoyed both the drinks and the pork bao buns.

A standout “happy accident” was ordering the pretzel rolls with truffle butter… absolutely amazing. That alone is worth coming back for.

The bartenders were attentive and provided great service throughout our visit. We also tried the deviled eggs, which were just okay for me—the mustard base was a bit too strong for my taste.

Overall, Ripplewood is a lovely spot with a relaxed vibe and nice outdoor seating in the back. It’s a great place for drinks, small bites, and a chill evening out.“

“My daughter said that she was looking to have sushi for lunch today, so we decided to give Herosame in Ardmore a try. Wow, this is one of the best sushi meals we've had in the Philly area and definitely on the Main Line. I called in our takeout order and the server who took our order was very friendly and polite as was the server who brought us our order while we waited in the vestibule. We ordered the Lunch Shrimp Teriyaki Bento Box and the Lunch Triple Roll Combo. Wow! I thought they had accidentally give us another person's order as the bags were quite heavy. Both lunch specials could easily be split over two meals or at least a meal and a leftovers snack. The Lunch Shrimp Teriyaki Bento Box included a small house salad, a pint of Miso Soup, 2 Shumai, a California Roll, 6 large Teriyaki Shrimp and a pint of steamed white rice. The salad was a crisp and refreshing spring mix with thinly shredded carrots and a halved grape tomato with a delicious dressing. The Miso soup was very rich and tasty. The Shumai were delicious with a nice crisp exterior, but soft, tender and enjoyable meat inside. The California Roll was huge and stuffed with super fresh crab stick and vegetables topped off with tobiko. The Teriyaki Shrimp were just a hair overcooked, but still delicious. The Three Roll Lunch Combo featured a choice of three rolls from a list of twenty different rolls so my daughter picked the Shrimp Avocado Roll, Tempura Roll and Philly Roll. All three rolls, just like my Bento Box's California Roll were huge with the Shrimp Tempura Rolls being gigantic. One piece of the tempura roll was at least twice the size of other sushi rolls I've had. Each roll was stuffed with the traditional meats and veggie fillings. Everything was so fresh and delicious! Herosame will definitely be on our family's list for future Japanese lunches and dinners!“

“This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Philly area. The food is always so fresh and delicious and the service is always attentive and friendly. Any time I am in the area, I stop by and stock up on all my favorite salads, rice dishes, and other specialities. I have never been disappointed. Clean and flavorful food. What more can you ask for? Allergens are clearly listed so there is no guesswork. Highly recommend!“

“I would like to recognize the outstanding service we received from Gina Picciano, the manager at Lola's Garden. From the very beginning, Gina went above and beyond to ensure my daughter's bridal shower was absolutely perfect—and it truly was. She reached out to me several times on her own to check in, answer questions, and reassure me that no matter what the weather brought, she would make sure we were accommodated, whether indoors or outdoors. Gina even gave me her personal cell phone number and told me to call her anytime if I needed anything. Every time I reached out, she responded immediately with professionalism, kindness, and genuine enthusiasm. She made me feel like no request was too much trouble. On the day of the event, Gina exceeded every expectation. She personally provided directions for unloading and arranged for her staff to help carry in all of my decorations. Her positive attitude never wavered. She never responded with "no" or "I can't." Instead, she focused on finding solutions and making everything work. Nearly 40 guests attended the shower, and so many of them commented on how beautiful and perfectly organized everything was. I honestly could not have pulled it off without Gina's support, guidance, and willingness to help every step of the way. Lola's Garden is fortunate to have someone like Gina Picciano leading your team. She is an exceptional manager, a true professional, and a tremendous asset to your restaurant. “We called the night before and made reservations for our party of 6 for lunch at 1:30 PM on Saturday (today). We arrived early and we’re seated immediately. Food was delicious and service was friendly and courteous. We had a mix of starters (beef jap chae, Korean fried chicken, Dakgangjeong & chili calamari), entrees (bulgogi, 2 Dolsot Bibimbop & ramen), table bbq (Joo Mul Luk Marinated ribeye & Samgyupsal Thinly sliced pork belly), and drinks. Entrees and table bbq comes with white rice, ban Chan, and veggies. We ate everything and we’re satisfied with happy bellies. The restaurant is quaint, nice atmosphere, and clean. Metered parking is available in front of restaurant. We recommend trying this place, and will be back again.“

And I’ve been there enough times to chat up the infamous owner Tony… he does not suffer fools!
