The owner is an older Italian man. He has a personality and is not the most accommodating. Like many older people, he is set in his ways. You can tell though that he is extremely hardworking and has a good heart. If you like to have small talk he will definitely strike up a conversation with you if you walk - probably in a slightly grumpy-ish character, it’s part of his charm. Best kept secret in the Delaware Valley. Tony is a real character , don’t let his bark dissuade you from a great food experience. The owner is passionate and I’ve had several lively conversations with him, which I consider part of the allure of the establishment. Don’t sleep on this place. On par with the best pizzas I’ve had in Philly and Brooklyn… of course New Haven pizza is in its own class.
