“Dinner is always excellent here, but I especially wanted to recognize Alicia and Zack for making our visits truly memorable. We had them as servers on two separate occasions, and both provided outstanding service from start to finish. Their drink and dinner recommendations were spot on, and their friendly, engaging personalities made the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. We’re already looking forward to coming back and seeing them again!“

“Beautiful decor, very cozy and ambient. Our server was very nice and helpful, as my daughter and I have never been there. Chef Tony made us delicious sushi rolls and plated the sashimi beautifully. We had dessert, they have a variety of mochi and I had the tempura ice cream.. omgoodness it was so delicious! If you're in the area and in the mood for good food and relaxing atmosphere, stop in and tell them I sent you!“

“Amazing restaurant with great sushi and some of the BEST RAMEN not just in the area, but in South East PA. I crave it at least 2-3 times a week and the sushi options are amazing and the fish is always top notch, fresh and cut perfectly. I love this place.“

“I am a bit of a sushi efficianado and this place blows me away every time. The freshness of their ingredients set it apart. they carefully construct their bowls and I haven't had a dissapointing roll yet. It's also extremely affordable. I really recommend the Poke bowl. If you're a fan of sushi this place is a must try.“

“I stopped by for lunch and will be back for dinner. It's that good!
I had a bowl of spicy tonkatsu And a cucumber avocado roll. Both dishes were perfect. They may have some of the best jammy eggs I've had in ramen before. Place it top shelf all the way and cannot recommend enough.“

They did forgot our salad but after eating the food we aren’t even too upset. The sushi was good and fresh. Rice was perfect.

“My family and I had an incredible dining experience tonight at Umai. We had a special, Kinmedai aka Golden Eye Snapper that was so fresh and tasty, out of this world good! We also had a treat with broiled tuna cheek that was also outstanding. Otoro was so velvety and rich, spicy hotate, sweet ebi, unagi, fried crabs, incredible sushi rolls, savory Akadashi (my son ordered a second it was so good) and everything else we ordered tonight was just incredible. Thanks so much to Rae and his wonderful staff for one of the best meals I've ever had - the best sushi in this area for sure and such friendly excellent service to accompany it! 🙂 Thanks for such wonderful hospitality and all the extra goodies Rae. It was wonderful to meet you and sample the fruits of your masterful culinary skills!“

“I have nothing but great things to say about this restaurant! The sushi was very fresh. The Philadelphia roll was great - not fishy tasting like some other restaurants are. Other rolls we ordered and enjoyed thoroughly were the volcano roll, shrimp tempura roll, and California roll. The spicy kani salad and mochi were great too. The service was great. Very kind and thankful staff! Would love to come back again.“

“I'm shocked I do not have a photo of the Salmon Bento that I have gotten at least 20 times already. I usually have it delivered via Uber Eats and it's so good that I dive right in when I get it! It comes with perfectly cooked salmon on a bed of sauteed broccoli and onions in a yummy teriyaki sauce. The sides are shrimp and veggie tempura, gyoza, California rolls, and white rice. You know when you find that one go-to restaurant that eases even the worst day at work? Sakura is that restaurant for me!

If you want the bento at a cheaper price - try the lunch specials; it's equally delicious!

I highly recommend this place and will continue to order hopefully for years to come!

“I got a DoorDash order from here today. It was truly some of the best miso soup I’ve ever had. The special role that I ordered was wrapped with cucumber and although impossible to eat in a one bite, the fish was very fresh and the taste overall was excellent. I also had gyoza which were very good.“

“This place is a gem. Fast and friendly service, the best ginger dressing on a house salad I have ever tasted. The freshest fish you will find on the main line. “My daughter said that she was looking to have sushi for lunch today, so we decided to give Herosame in Ardmore a try. Wow, this is one of the best sushi meals we've had in the Philly area and definitely on the Main Line. I called in our takeout order and the server who took our order was very friendly and polite as was the server who brought us our order while we waited in the vestibule. We ordered the Lunch Shrimp Teriyaki Bento Box and the Lunch Triple Roll Combo. Wow! I thought they had accidentally give us another person's order as the bags were quite heavy. Both lunch specials could easily be split over two meals or at least a meal and a leftovers snack. The Lunch Shrimp Teriyaki Bento Box included a small house salad, a pint of Miso Soup, 2 Shumai, a California Roll, 6 large Teriyaki Shrimp and a pint of steamed white rice. The salad was a crisp and refreshing spring mix with thinly shredded carrots and a halved grape tomato with a delicious dressing. The Miso soup was very rich and tasty. The Shumai were delicious with a nice crisp exterior, but soft, tender and enjoyable meat inside. The California Roll was huge and stuffed with super fresh crab stick and vegetables topped off with tobiko. The Teriyaki Shrimp were just a hair overcooked, but still delicious. The Three Roll Lunch Combo featured a choice of three rolls from a list of twenty different rolls so my daughter picked the Shrimp Avocado Roll, Tempura Roll and Philly Roll. All three rolls, just like my Bento Box's California Roll were huge with the Shrimp Tempura Rolls being gigantic. One piece of the tempura roll was at least twice the size of other sushi rolls I've had. Each roll was stuffed with the traditional meats and veggie fillings. Everything was so fresh and delicious! Herosame will definitely be on our family's list for future Japanese lunches and dinners!“

This seems to be a family owned well run restaurant
After landing in philly and resting a few hours i walked to the acme from my airbnb for wine and minor things but i saw fuki sushi was across the street along side the peruvian chicken joint. I got a couple pieces of chicken from the peruvian chicken joint (i will review them on another post) and i decided to eat at fuki sushi and let me say i was no ways disappointed. This joint is slamming and smacking. I had a Japanese lycee soda (with the marble in it) but i lost the smacker for the marble so the waiter said i will bring you another no sir just charge me for both and we good. I love lycees but this had the slight flavor of lycee but it will have to do until i get back to the east.
The food
I had pan fried chicken pot stickers which were so delicious
I had the dragon roll sushi which was busy spicy hot and flavorful
It was all so good
This place was busy with lots of take out orders
But i recommend grabbing a table
Eating and enjoying the meal immediately
I will return before i leave but this place is a 5 star joint

“Kabuki offers great value for money. It is a very affordable japanese restaurant offering a variety of sushi, sashimi, rolls and hot dishes. We are coming regularly for their lunch specials.
Waiters are nice and helpful.
I would highly recommend to got to Kabuku for a quick lunch.“

This family owned restaurant has multiple member of their family, and it truly adds a personal touch. Joey was our server last night, and it was great to learn more about the restaurant - plus he made us laugh and just made our experience even better! Their outdoor dining is an awesome option - and the setting truly can’t be beat! We can’t wait to come back!“

“We love Yuki! They have outstanding food, from appetizers to a large selection of Sushi. We've never had a bad meal or bad service here. We have been ordering delivery once a week since the quarantine (min order of $25 to qualify). They are offering credit card payment over the phone, and the delivery man safely passed off our order from a distance while wearing gloves. Support local businesses like Yuki Sushi right now if you're able to!“

“New Leaf is a Manayunk staple for sushi and Asian cuisine. I’ve ordered delivery and dine-in, and it’s never disappointed.

I’ve never sat at the bar, but I wonder if it’s good. It looks like a decent spot, maybe next time I’ll check it out!
