Their chocolate peanut butter is so good and we love their banana! “You know this place is popular when there are people waiting outside the door at 9am right before this place opens. It was my first time here and upon arriving, 2 people were waiting to get in and 3 more trickled in minutes later. A line started to form and people are trying to get the tomato pie. I place an order for the regular tomato pie a few days ago over the phone but when I went to pick it up they didn't have my name. Luckily they had extras so I didn't have to order another. My friends really enjoyed the tomato pie so it's definitely as good as people say. Just be sure to double check the day before if you placed an order with them.”

There was a little bit of a wait when I went for pick-up but it was because they were so busy.. the owner (?) was greeting regulars by their names, asking about spouse, kids, etc. Very welcoming. As a thank you for the wait (10-15 min) they offered me a free pint of ice cream and soda. I walked out smiling and will definitely be back again. The food was tasty and the service kind. “Tiny “Hometown“ type bar. Everyone was very friendly. We had a cheesesteak, which was very good, and got to put pins in the map to show how far we traveled. Drinks were generous and atmosphere was very fun. We were there on a night when they were playing bingo. It was free and a very fun addition to the night. Only complaint is the smoking. I’m sure this is some kind of last resort for smokers, and they probably love it, but I could do without going back to my hotel smelling like a dirty ashtray after having a drink and a sandwich.Parking: Parking lot is tiny and only accommodates a few cars. street parking is hard to find. This place is at the intersection of a few streets, but there is one of the roads that has free parking across the busy intersection.”

“Listen, forget the city just come here for a great cheesesteak! Listen, as soon as I walked up I know the vibe was right. When I walked in the music was vibing the staff was cool. This place has been around many years. They open early but close at 4pm so be mindful of that. I literally would drive out of my way to come back next time we visiting Philly. This visit I got the chicken Philly cheese steak. Chicken is shredded thin like the regular and he adds butter to keep it from drying out. The bread was delicious, the meat was delicious, the cheese was delicious. Only thing I would say is stay away from the mushrooms. They are just mushrooms from a can/jar so they took away from the sandwich for me- I took them out. Seriously amazing sandwich. Highly recommend!”

“Wow. Was not expecting to find some of the best Mexican food I've had in a random strip mall at the back of a grocery store. Place is low-key and decorated colorfully. Food was well-priced, so flavorful, and very fresh. I got the fish tacos, which again were very fresh, and were a great vehicle for their many delicious salsas. Love the giant salsa bar--will need to come back just to try them all. Husband got a pollo special that was almost like a chicken stew with a thick orange cream and he devoured it. We're confident the rest of the extensive menu is just as good. Service was fast and friendly. They don't have a line to leave tip when you pay with credit card so maybe tip in cash if you want to. Def adding this place into regular rotation.”

Their cheesesteaks are amazing along with always awesome Calabrian Cheese Fries, what could be bad. Everything I have ever had has been tasty, innovative and priced well! Perfect spot for a BYOB or non-alcoholic drink as well. Vegetarian, Meat eater, not sure? All will enjoy this place. Don't forget to take some cheescake to go.”

“Morabito Baking Company has been around since 1932 and remains in the same family into its fourth generation. It is a full service bakery, producing everything from rolls to bagels, muffins, pies and my reason for writing this review - tomato pies. Norristown is the center of Tomato Pie Land, and competes with all the big boys of this genre, most notably Corropolese and Conshohoken. Tomato pie is unique for three main reasons: 1) its simple elegance in having only two major aspects - thick/light dough base and heavy lightly sweet tomato sauce applied across the entire top of the large square crust; 2) the fact that it is made in bakeries rather than pizzerias; and 3) it is served at room temperature, giving it broad utility and versatility. I recently found a stack of Morabito Tomato Pies at the Costco in Warrington, PA. At $6.99 for a boxed quarter sheet, it was almost too good to be true. Could it possibly match up with the other stars that are famous around these parts? We bought a box to find out. It was every bit as good as those guys', and maybe even better, especially given the great price. I just finished the last four squares watching Christmas Eve football and enjoyed every last bite. Of course it was even sweeter that the Cowboys lost! Congratulations to Morabito Baking Company for getting a deal with Costco. This can't be anything but positive for further growth and recognition.”

“Stumbled across this hidden gem in Norristown while waiting for the shuttle to the elmwood park zoo. This place has so many options from fresh juices, homemade ice cream, popsicles, ice cream, desserts and lunch options. The service is awesome too , the person helping us offered different samples to see what we would like before purchasing and explained all the ingredients in certain options. The interior is so cute and colorful , definitely feel like your transported to Mexico when you walk inside. The crepe was amazing and light and the mangonada was spicy, sour and sweet. There was a woman named Sabrina, she was great and always was friendly and offered to let me try different drinks. Then, there was a woman with red hair that was super nice. Since before Christmas, I've been served daily by Tony and his crew. They know my order and when they see my car, start it, I know this because one time I switched it up on them!! They are very personable and know greet me by name. There is also another guy there, that is super friendly and outgoing. I don't know his name but my mom and his share a birthday! “I’m here for the pork sandwiches and wings! Nothing wrong with the pizza but I feel their pork sandwiches are just simply the best. Their wings are also super top notch as well. Rather go here where the wings have some character as they are obviously cooked a bit in the sauce as opposed to just doused in it like most wing joints. Their sweet BBQ has a bit of bite that’s just lovely. They are also cheaper than most wing joints too.”

“Stumbled across this hidden gem in Norristown while waiting for the shuttle to the elmwood park zoo. This place has so many options from fresh juices, homemade ice cream, popsicles, ice cream, desserts and lunch options. The service is awesome too , the person helping us offered different samples to see what we would like before purchasing and explained all the ingredients in certain options. The interior is so cute and colorful , definitely feel like your transported to Mexico when you walk inside. The crepe was amazing and light and the mangonada was spicy, sour and sweet. It’s very tastefully decorated, and the layout isn’t crowded at all—it’s not a big place but they didn’t “overstuffed” the place like many small restaurants do.I had pad see ew and my husband had drunk noodle. Both taste good, but personally I think the drunk noodle tasted better. My pad see ew is a bit too tangy/sweet.Service is attentive and friendly. Overall we are very happy with our dining experience tonight. Do plan to come back soon.”
