Chap's Taproom Reviews
The people who work there are great! Did I say, "Great?" I mean "GREAT!!!" Let me tell you why...Yesterday, 6/17/2024 ~6:30 p.mish, My order came up to $27 and some change, but I only had $26.29 left in my account. 😭
The young lady behind the counter donated $2.00 to my tab from her own pocket! I am forever grateful to her for that!!!
First timer today. First thing I noticed was this “taproom” was extremely clean.
Wait staff was great, food was awesome, shepherd’s pie & corned beef special, prices weren’t horrendous,
Seemed very friendly. Will def. go back.
Great place. Dinner was very good.

Chap's Taproom, located near a golf course, is known for its wide selection of craft beers and full bar offerings, shown on multiple TVs. The restaurant serves handhelds, salad, and main dishes, featuring delicious options like cheesesteaks, burgers, and the fried shrimp platter. It is recommended to bring cash due to a card fee that has increased because of rising costs. While the food, once considered the best bar food in the area, has slightly changed with fries being different and smaller pickle chip servings, it remains very good. Prices for meals such as Fish and Chips, costing 17.50, and the Reuben, costing 12.50, are comparable to other similar establishments. Service from the staff, especially some bartenders, is noted as terrific. However, there have been instances of intoxicated guests causing disruptions. Free parking is available, but the lot can get full on weekends. Despite some challenges, the atmosphere is friendly and local, with many enjoying watching games or playing billiards. Overall, the quality of the food is beyond expectations, making it a hidden gem worth trying.
