“Highly recommend Roots!! My smash burger was delicious, and the fries were great too. Our server, Arielle, was so friendly and an absolute pleasure!

“Chestnut Hill Brewing offers a cozy taproom that works especially well for groups of four. The brewery is attached to the Chestnut Hill Hotel and serves an upscale gastropub-style menu. The Bang Bang Broccoli hit the spot and was something a little different from what we normally order. Hopzs Brown Ale, was our favorite beer in the flight. Overall this is a great stop for good food and beer while staying at the inn or passing through into Philly.“

“We have found our new favorite spot! Sat outside in CHBC’s fantastic beer garden on a beautiful Saturday early evening. The Biergarten was spacious and had a great vibe and very friendly servers. Don’t forget to bring your canine best friend to this dog friendly spot. While we didn't bring a dog of our own, we loved interacting with everyone else's four-legged friends.
The food, service, and drink selection are all impressive and on point. As someone who only consumes plant-based meals, I was thrilled to find so many amazing vegan options on the menu. The vegan cheesesteak, falafel burger, and chickpea tinga nachos are all delicious and highly recommended, but they also have equally delicious options for carnivores that looked really good. We cannot wait to come back and try the pizza next time.
For drinks, I ordered non-alcoholic beer, but as a beer enthusiast at a brewery, I couldn't help but notice the impressive body, clarity, and color of the house beers being served around us. They have a great variety of appealing styles that will easily please most palates. Highly recommend this place!“

“Bar Avalon always delivers! The food, service, and ambiance are consistently amazing. We tried the wine and dinner pairing for the first time last night and were blown away—perfectly matched courses and a knowledgeable waitress made it a standout experience. A perfect date night. “Great craft beer menu. We ordered a few appetizers: plain nachos (large plate; very cheesy & delicious), margarita pizza and fried pickles (both were very good). Bartenders were very attentive. It’s a converted bank so you can still see the vault which is a cool feature. Highly recommend.“

“Hosted a private birthday here and it was truly fabulous. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. The service was above and beyond. There is catering on the premises which makes for a very easy communication. The day of the party we showed up decorated and enjoyed! Would absolutely host another private event with Well Crafted.“

“My husband and I went here for the first time last week. The woman that took care of us was Lee. She was very inviting and kind. Our drinks were refreshing! When our food came out, everything was so fresh, hot and delicious!!! We had no wait time to be seated. The wait for our food after ordering was minimal. I wish we had come here sooner. We will be returning!“

“The people who work there are great! Did I say, "Great?" I mean "GREAT!!!" Let me tell you why...Yesterday, 6/17/2024 ~6:30 p.mish, My order came up to $27 and some change, but I only had $26.29 left in my account. 😭 The young lady behind the counter donated $2.00 to my tab from her own pocket! I am forever grateful to her for that!!!“
