“Great Sports Bar! Plenty of TVs in their main bar area and both dinning rooms. I would absolutely recommend you get the burger. It was packed full of greens, with the lettuce sauteed onions and grilled eggplant, but balanced it nicely with a big meaty patty and delicious house sauce. The fries were also exceptional, potentially double fried and thick cut, these steak fries were crispy and the perfect compliment to the burger. Staff was friendly and attentive and the neighborhood was cute!“

“I understand why this is a Philly institution… you walk in and feel like you’ve transported back in time! Handwritten menu on the wall with no prices, food being prepared right in front of you.

Finally stopped in for lunch and got a hot beef & cheese (sharp provolone). While I love the modern day sandwich shops with crazy creative combinations, nothing beats a high quality yet simple sandwich like this. Fresh meat, roll, everything about it hit the spot. Added a bag of chips for $1 (sandwich was $15). My friend got the turkey special and loved it as well.

The young women working this evening were awesomeness. I order the pretzel. It came with beer cheese. I told the young woman how much I loved beer cheese. She said it came with mustard and beer cheese but she could give me 2 beer cheeses. I said, ‘two beer cheese please.’ I have 3 beers each was better than the last. They all had a ton of flavor. They all tasted exactly as they were described. I think they are trying to be a higher end brewery. But, they have a big bar and you never what kind of crowd the Fillmore is going to bring in. The cheesesteak rolls are delicious to the point of ordering an extra one because you’ll be mad you didn’t get another one. The salmon rolls are, again, one of the reasons Chase’s is a little gem. The frozen "Henny" (lmmfao) colda--.. that's not Henny.. that's whiskey, trust me, I have my certification. Long story. But TuuuuMmmmm... Other than that- it's definitely a great place to go and have a blast. The Brazilian fiery haired bartender is a must see. She's cool ? Great place to chill out and play pool, if it's not crowded. If you do not speak Spanish or know how to read Spanish that is not a problem here their menu is biligual, and so are the staff. This place is were I go to get a home style meal from the islands. My favorite is their sweet plantain, stewed chicken, arroz con gandules, and salad(***put oil and vinegar on it not salad dressing it cuts the fat from the food you're eating to refresh you pallet). They have tons of options to choose from too, just know that if you going here on a Saturday or Sunday be ready for a crowd because this is THE best place to go for Puerto Rican food in Philly!“

Had so much fun that I left my phone and wasn’t able to retrieve it before my early departure the next day lol.
