“The rare 5 stars I give- this place deserved it. I chanced on this place one day for the pizza... got brocciole pizza and spices, and potato pizza- outstanding selection and the best or as good as the best pizza I've had. Crust and flavor combination was perfect. I came back 2 nights later to try other dishes... I ordered gnocchi because this shows quality in a restaurant- I've had many bad gnocchi dishes- Alice restaurant was the most perfect gnocchi I have ever had in a restaurant. only home made is better. The texture was perfect and soft. spice perfectly blended. I asked to add sausage... made a perfect meal. The Gelato on top of the small tart was superb. they make their own gelato... quality is excellent. Anna, our server was outstanding. her people skills and customer service would make the owners proud to represent them. Only draw back was that our bar seats were a bit uncomfortable. it is a bit cramped in there. they need a bigger space. absolutely loved this place!!!!“

“Every time I've been here the food and drinks have been excellent and very reasonably priced, The Service is always exceptional and very friendly. It's one of the best spots in the neighborhood. Also don't sleep on the French toast or the martinis.“

“Group of 5 of us who haven't been here before and we all loved it. The food was terrific and our server (Caitlin) was excellent. The vegan options were plentiful which is a big plus for me. I'm not much of a beer drinker, but I even enjoyed that. We will certainly be back!“
“I had superb food throughout my week in Philly but this restaurant topped the lot. Food was absolutely fantastic - every dish a flavour sensation. Service was also faultless, & the greeting warm. It’s an upscale affair, set within a beautiful character building in the posh part of town, but the vibe is low key & unpretentious. Loved every minute!!“

“I definitely recommend Wolf Burger! I got Fries and the BBQ bacon ranch burger and the flavors were out of this world! Roll was great, the cheese on the burger was melted perfectly, and overall the burger had a really unique flavor! The black and blue burger was super good too! Super happy to have tried this place and definitely will be back!“

“Pretty good selection of beers and there are more than enough TVs to tune in to watch whatever local game you’re trying to catch. I think the service could be a bit better but other than that, it’s a fine little watering hole for locals.“

“Fun little dive bar with a huge beer list, ski ball, and pool. I usually come for the food though. They have a built in food truck. The vibes here are super fun and they always have some form of a sports game on too.
Vegetarian options: The pesto grilled cheese is to die for!
Wheelchair accessibility: No steps, and a handicap accessible bathroom“

“I attended a recreational employee dinner hosted by my boss to lift morale. Most of us never heard of this bar/restaurant. I was intrigued since our company is a high end restaurant in Chestnut Hill. If the owner and former head chef picked it, it must be good, right? HELLZ YEAH!!!!!! The drinks were potent and yummy. The mac & cheese with brisket was sublime!!!!! The grand entrance of the 6ft (?) cheesesteak with fresh cut sweet potato waffle fries were spectacular. SPARKLERS!!!!! The garlic parmesan wings were super. The nachos were on point, light & crips, not stale or greasy. My ONLY disappointment which was shared with another friend at the party were the baby back ribs. We loved the sauce- just right, not too spicy/hot with tangy gooey yummyliciousness. However the ribs themselves were MOSTLY BONE. It was basically use licking the sauce and the few bits of meat off the top. It was hard to even find any separation to cut it to get the meat in between. I wish they offered SPARE RIBS which usually have more tender, juicy meat on the bone. Cause I LOOKED at the menu before ordering the baby backs. Hell, they coulda just put BBQ sauce on the brisket and I would have had a foodgasm. Maybe I'll do that next time on my own. That said, I will definitely go there again but I will never order the ribs. There are so many other perfect food offerings to keep me happy that I ain't mad, LOL. Also, the TVs provided viewer ankles for everyone regardless of where they sat. And the bar stools were COMFORTABLE too. Our waitress was attentive and professional but not aloof. The bartenders helped us out too with friendly responses. I apologize because I forget their names. After all, I was so snookered from the booze, I am happy that I still remembered to give this review. It's 3 days later and I am still thinking about the dinner. Give it a try! Many of us took SEPTA, its easy to get to from bus, subway, regional rail and cost less to PARK in Center City. That said, SEPTA getting ready to go on strike so...... don't care how you get to Tradesman, just TRY IT OUT!!!!!!!!!“

“First time there. It was awesome. Burgers are to die for!!“
“Excellent beer and food with impeccable service. I ordered a flight including blonde, session ale, West coast IPA, and brown ale. The blonde is light and crispy with a very light sweetness at the end. The session ale has the traditional bitter and hint of malt. This one finishes with what I describe as a dry tobacco finish. The west coast IPA takes me back to the great IPAs of the 2000s. This was such a treat. And the brown ale is perfectly malty. You have to love a good brown.
For food, we had the wontons with a dill sauce, Buffalo cauliflower, and a chicken sandwich. All tasty, well-prepared and quality ingredients. Excellent stop.“

“☕️The Parkway Deli has a hidden gem—a cozy little coffee shop that’s a must-try!!!! They brew Rival Bros coffee, and let me tell you, it’s seriously good. I’ve been to my share of cafés, but the quality here is on point. I had the Tiramisu Cream Latte, and it was fire! Their fresh pastries hit the spot too!????Definitely swing by and treat yourself!“

“Was there last night for early dinner and stayed to see the Eagles first TD. Food was fresh and extremely tasty. The vibe here is great. The service was excellent. Our server, Max, was very personable and gives very good recommendations. Max is not the only server like this. It seems to be the culture there. They have a lot of loyal customers. When we left the was a couple looking for a place to eat and watch the game. I quickly recommended Glory. If in Old City and near Chestnut and 2nd give them a try. You won’t be disappointed.“

“I tried the smoked salmon sandwich for the second time, but this time, the bread was a bit stale and dry, which was disappointing. On the other hand, the zucchini bread was excellent, with a nice flavor and a perfect texture. However, it was a touch too sweet for my taste.“

“Went in last week for breakfast and the food was so good, the cook with the purple hair did a really good job with my chocolate chip pancakes! (And she was really pretty) The whole place has good vibes and the staff were all so nice but the prices are like, way high, especially for college students. I like the little gay nutcracker by the cash register, he made me feel welcome.“

“If you haven’t tried the “rolls,” you’re missing out. Take it from a dude with moobs. I know good food. I f$cks with food. The cheesesteak rolls are delicious to the point of ordering an extra one because you’ll be mad you didn’t get another one. The salmon rolls are, again, one of the reasons Chase’s is a little gem. It’s what makes Philadelphia a city claim passionately. This food is made with love and I love this food!“

“Been in here 3x on two separate trips to Philly. Same experience all 3 times. Excellent food prepared out front by a very kindly cook. Fantastic bartenders. Great conversation with strangers next to me (always stemming from the 10/10 great playlist going on the stereo). The atmosphere in here is so warm and cozy. I'm not a person who hangs out in bars but every time I come here I seriously don't wanna leave. It looks a little out of the way on the map from all the tourist stuff but it's not. 22nd is a nice street to walk down.“
“This place is a hidden gem in the area. Great food and great selection of beers. The staff is super friendly and the prices are reasonable. They have a nice outdoor area to eat, drink, and chill while talking with friends or checking out their garden. I recommend their bulgogi anything and samgyupsal.“

“I have been coming to Freddy & Tony's since i was born! As soon as you walk in they make you feel like your family. If you do not speak Spanish or know how to read Spanish that is not a problem here their menu is biligual, and so are the staff. This place is were I go to get a home style meal from the islands. My favorite is their sweet plantain, stewed chicken, arroz con gandules, and salad(***put oil and vinegar on it not salad dressing it cuts the fat from the food you're eating to refresh you pallet). They have tons of options to choose from too, just know that if you going here on a Saturday or Sunday be ready for a crowd because this is THE best place to go for Puerto Rican food in Philly!“

“This hidden gem of a bar stands out as one of the most underrated establishments in the area, offering a delightful experience for patrons. Nestled in the heart of the neighborhood, it exudes a sense of community that truly makes it a great local haunt. What sets it apart is not only the ambiance but also the staff, whose politeness and hospitality transcend expectations. They have a remarkable ability to make every visitor, even those stepping in for the first time, feel like they belong, fostering a welcoming environment that is both rare and refreshing. In essence, it's not just a bar; it's a hub where people become regulars from their very first visit.“

“This was my first time going to Manayunk and my mother and grandmother’s second time. We didn’t know where exactly we’d dine so they made me choose, and this place’s menu stuck out to me. We were so indecisive with ordering appetizers, but settled on the buffalo cauliflower and thai weren’t. the cauliflower was SOOOO good and the mussels were good too but the cauliflower was my absolute favorite. For drinks, my grandmother and i ordered the spider cider, which just tasted like regular cider, it wasn’t all that. my mother said her drink, the crisp apple sangria, didn’t have enough alcohol. For a main course, i bought the squash risotto with grilled chicken added, and it was deliciousss. My mother had the rigatoni bolognese, which might’ve been the best dish at the table. The sauce was sooo rich and savory and it felt like comfort food. My grandmother got the brown rice nut salad with the vegetarian chili. I didn’t try the salad but the chili was thick and rich as well. For dessert I had the Jewish Apple Pie, which was so warm and tender, but i feel like there should’ve been more ice cream on the side. But our experience could’nt be the same without the hospitality of our server, Lia. She was so nice and accommodating and tried her best despite how busy the restaurant got around 6. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.“

“Came for brunch. The space itself is cool: you take an elevator to the 11th floor and you're transported to a rooftop restaurant. The roof is retractable so could be a nice option when warmer (it was closed when we went).
We got all the salsas (free chip refills!) which came with a surprising amount of options, so that was nice. The barbacoa tacos were fine, nothing special but standard (the tortilla tore a little easier than I would have expected so a bit hard to eat). The chorizo rojo hash was delicious. A solid amount of chorizo with a delightful sauce. The menu didn't have a ton of things outside of barbacoa tacos that I was interested in so I was surprised to have enjoyed this as much as we did.
The drinks were fine-standard margarita with a tajin rim. The service was a bit slow. We were one of two tables and it took a strange amount of time to get napkin refills, water, and the check.“
