“An old favorite but was disappointed this time...One of things we love about this place is the ever-changing menu and the interesting combination of ingredients and flavors. We started with the endive salad which was outstanding but it went downhill from there. The brioche was too crunchy and oily (but the escargots and tomatoes topping was very good); the enoki mushrooms were a little overpowered by the other flavors; the oyster mushrooms were quite charred; and the fish was overcooked. Drink-wise, also did not think much of the "void essence" cocktail - was a little bland for me. Service as always as excellent.“

“Irwin’s has some of the best cocktails I’ve had in years and an inventive menu that kept my eyes wide. To boot, the restaurant itself is an aesthetic masterpiece and atmospherically unbeatable. The perfect spot for splurging with friends or getting mommy and daddy to front the bill. I will say the pasta was curiously not as good as the mains and mezze, which you wouldn’t necessarily want of an Italian spot, but maybe that’s just because the latter two were so spectacular. I’ll be back.“

“Manatawny is always wonderful. The staff behind the bar are fantastic and answer any questions you might have about the menu or the products they make. The cocktails are always great and I like the fact that they do seasonal menus so there's new things to try often.“
“We plan trips to Philadelphia just to visit this amazing bar. We can’t oversell this…absolutely the best cocktails we have ever had. There are strict house rules for a reason and we appreciate that. Always a wonderful evening at Hop Sings. Leave your phones at home and enjoy the atmosphere and fine crafted drinks.“

“Really hip spot for drinks. I could easily see it being busier (there was a line when we left) but luckily when we went around 9PM on a Saturday we were able to grab one of the side tables, which were really cute! The menu is extensive so there's bound to be something for everyone. Prices were average, certainly not cheap but not out of line with what you'd expect for a place like this. Staff was really friendly and accommodating.
We got the corn 'n oil (lovely), corpse reviver #2 (pretty good), nitro espresso martini (I will never convert to an espresso martini liker so this was what it was), and honey bee. My biggest wish for the honey bee (and really all of their drinks) is that they weren't served in martini glasses (corn 'n oil thankfully was not), as it's just so much work to drink and I think detracts from the drink overall.“

“Food is on point, both the specials and the standards. I Prussian can't stand guacamole at most restaurants, bur the mango guacamole is ridiculously tasty
As for sides, cheesesteal empanadas, rice and beans, plantains, oh my God. It's all banging. The bartender makes a mean cocktail as well! The atmosphere, while it seems to attract the trendy crowds intrinsic with Fishtown.it remains peasant with a chill vibe. Only reason I did not go all in with a 5 is that I'd have liked A BIT more from the cultural perspective!“

“Hosted my bridal shower at Kiddo this past weekend and had a wonderful experience. Wyatt and the team could not have been easier to work with. They were so accommodating and managed everything so well. Everyone loved the food (seasonal, great portions, delicious), the cocktails were amazing, and the space is so cute. Highly recommend for events or even just for weekend brunch.“

“I’ve been to Fishtown Social many times and every experience has been great. Every wine/cocktail I’ve ordered has been very enjoyable. The whites and oranges are among the best I’ve ever had. I know I can try a few different wines here that I wouldn’t normally drink because the menu is always strong.
The service has always been friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I was just here last night catching up with some friends. Even though it was last call and close to closing, the servers were very patient and accommodating. In the past, they’ve also helped me choose from their bottle shop selection in the back.
It also has a great atmosphere - candles, a beautiful bar, and outdoor seating. Stopping by here is always a treat!“

“What an unexpected and delightful discovery Andra Hem turned out to be. Though my time there was brief—a stop for a cocktail before dinner—it left a lasting impression. The ambiance is dark, intimate, and richly decorated, exuding an understated elegance. Seated at the bar, I was treated to a custom cocktail crafted with impeccable attention to my preferences by the bartender. The speakeasy vibe added a layer of intrigue that drew me in completely, leaving me eager to return and explore more of what this hidden gem has to offer.“

“Grabbed some seats at the bar for happy hour. The vibe truly escapes me but I'm not mad about it. Did I understand the music choices? No, but again, into it.
The happy hour deals themselves are fine. There are 3 drink choices, none of which I was super interested in so went with a non HH beer instead. The names of the non HH cocktails are worth a read and clearly really thought out.
We went with both HH apps: the corn ribs and the white fish dip. The former was pretty good- I don't LOVE corn but the dipping sauce was nice and it was pretty well executed. The latter was much better. Nice chunks of meat with really great homemade chips. We also got the beignets which were the highlight: the melted cheese was excellent and was an addition I wouldn't have expected. The pulled pork and the cauliflower were sort of unnecessary here but still really nice.
Service was great. Everyone was super friendly. The prices for HH were fine, a BIT on the pricier side and the actual non-HH menu itself was also fairly pricey. Not sure I would necessarily feel the need to come for non-bar food. Really laid back fun atmosphere.“

“Decided to check it out because a coworker of mine used to work here. When I went there was only one person on staff thankfully it was a sunday and not too busy so he wasn’t overloaded! He was incredibly quick and kind. The upstairs area was very quiet and warm considering it was only 5 pm i was the only one up there for a bit and got to take it all in! But the downstairs is equally inviting! (my anxiety just prefers to be away from the bar) drinks were strong i had the mymosa and the bull rider and definitely felt them. Can’t wait to come back with friends!“

“Not just because I work there as security. But Leda and the Swan is a great place. Great food, cocktails are well made, and I have never had a problem since I started working there. And the Djs aren't one sided when it comes to the music selections
Wheelchair accessibility: It's on the first floor. No stairs unless you want to go on the second level“

“Very nice establishment I discovered it sadly after howl at the moon closed.... for its size it is close corners at times but still great I personally luv the low key lighting for the chandler's and high top tables around to welcome random goers :) last Saturday I came and the bartender made a great old fashion tonight I stuck with a basic drink ? with in 10 -15 second not making it up I was greeted and served ? absolutely worth coming again ?
Kid-friendliness: Friendly bartenders and front door host“

“Went back to back nights. Sat down right away with a two top the first night and then waited fifteen minutes for a four top the next day. It’s an A+ type of place that you can just walk into and get great food and drinks without a reservation, something that’s increasingly impossible in town. Tempura was a table favorite. Service was great.“

“It took me a while to find my go to tacos here. I tried a few of their rotating ones. However, the last time I visited, I tried the steak fajita tacos and now I'm obsessed. Their happy hour is great! $5 margs? You can't beat that. I also love their bbq wings and their guac.“

“Had a few drinks here with the lovely bartender Alyssa(sp?!) looking out for me and showing me the good stuff. Of course fancypants mcgee here had to go for the most expensive cocktail on the list, but The Waldorf is absolutely worth it! (Tobacco Road and Bombay Moon were beautiful too don't get me wrong)
Next time I'm in the area I'll try a few of their enormous assortment of whiskey's, I counted like 170ish on the shelves, lord knows what goodies they have in their secret stash... well worth the trip ?“

“The rare 5 stars I give- this place deserved it. I chanced on this place one day for the pizza... got brocciole pizza and spices, and potato pizza- outstanding selection and the best or as good as the best pizza I've had. Crust and flavor combination was perfect. I came back 2 nights later to try other dishes... I ordered gnocchi because this shows quality in a restaurant- I've had many bad gnocchi dishes- Alice restaurant was the most perfect gnocchi I have ever had in a restaurant. only home made is better. The texture was perfect and soft. spice perfectly blended. I asked to add sausage... made a perfect meal. The Gelato on top of the small tart was superb. they make their own gelato... quality is excellent. Anna, our server was outstanding. her people skills and customer service would make the owners proud to represent them. Only draw back was that our bar seats were a bit uncomfortable. it is a bit cramped in there. they need a bigger space. absolutely loved this place!!!!“

“Cool spot with options for everyone, including a large section of vegan options. Tried the vegan philly cheesesteak which was excellent. The vegan cheese was so goey and delicious! It was pretty busy when I went but my food came out fast.
Vegetarian options: You can get a variety of sandwiches from their vegan menu and can get regular cheese on a vegan item.
Dietary restrictions: They have a vegan section. You can also interchange for vegan cheese on a meat sandwich if you're lactose intolerant.“

“My family and I (5 of us) were visiting Philly this weekend and were looking for a nice brunch place. Continental Midtown was perfect. The food was amazing. I had the Chilaquiles. The flavor was pure yum. I ate every morsel on my plate. My wife loved her Eggs Benedict with Salmon. The eggs and sauce were perfectly cooked. The service was perfect. Our server, Sela, was so hospitable and sweet. She took our order and the food came out quickly as if it just came off the grill. Will certainly return the next time we are in Philly. Wish I took some photos of our food but we devoured it in no time.
Dietary restrictions: Good

“found this place in searching for top rated nearby restaurants before a concert.
The staff was super friendly, the food was great, and the drinks were great!
I do wish the tables were a bit bigger (but we were greedy and got a lot of food lol) Also, we opted to sit inside where it was initially cooler, but they opened the windows so it got a little warm after a while. None of that was enough to negatively impact my experience, but just something to note.
I don’t live near here so probably won’t be back any time soon, but i do recommend it overall and whenever i am In the area, I’ll keep it in mind!“

“Great Place! Great Food! Casual Atmosphere! Recommend!“
“Let me start I did read all the bad reviews before heading over there so I didn’t have great expectations. However as a cheapskate and a craft beer lover especially searching for my lessor common styles of beer, I typically go by each bar and restaurant in airport and scan QR code to see beer selection and check pricing. Most places here in Philadelphia Airport straight rip off at 16 per pint, but when you want a beer you’re stuck. Anyway when I first approached the counter I was absolutely expecting to be poked since they didn’t show prices only beer menu.Luckily they had something for me that I was going to purchase regardless, A nice strong Golden at 8%.I was then blown away upon seeing I got a 20oz, normally higher ABV beers are served in smaller 12oz glasses. Any full pour of 20oz was only 10 bucks and I was expecting at least 20, left me room in budget to not only get 2nd beer plus a pretty solid hotdog and chips.Biggest plus was Connor the bar tender, was super cool and attentive, and then informed me I was safe to take my cup and walk back to my terminal, since I walked a fair distance just to check out all beer options.Lastly, unlike most other restaurants In airport it’s kind of obvious if your paying attention that their section is not owned and maintained by airport, as most restaurants have tables and chairs with chargers that kind of blend from restaurants into gates, so I kinda understand their right to ask people to patronize their business or ask them to leave, I was lucky to find a spot at the bar.Not excusing anyone ever treated rudely, and definitely not my experience.“

“We got the miso Caesar, Italian hoagie, bahn mi, and which ever non alc fruity drink with the passion fruit in it. The miso Caesar salad was delish until I connected the smell to a memory which was ~vintage Tupperware~. I couldn’t eat anymore after that but before I had that thought it was delish. Sandos were amazing and the drink was yummy! Service was perf per usual.“
“I had superb food throughout my week in Philly but this restaurant topped the lot. Food was absolutely fantastic - every dish a flavour sensation. Service was also faultless, & the greeting warm. It’s an upscale affair, set within a beautiful character building in the posh part of town, but the vibe is low key & unpretentious. Loved every minute!!“
