“Love the vibes here sooo much. Came here for the first time with my friend. He actually discovered this place and was intrigued when we came here. The wait time was 45 mins but it was okay because it’s intimate and peaceful and holds 45 ppl when is low key and mystique Shaan was my bartender and was super amazing and loving. Attentive although rot was pack but made us feel welcome and happy. Rito was the bartender and his drink was amazing short exotic and delicious. Nicole was the hostess the mostest. Love this place and appreciate the hospitality and great vibes from the workers and customers.“

“My husband took me out to Philly for an early Mother’s Day gift. He said we were going to a “speakeasy” type bar in Chinatown but I didn’t believe him. When we got to an iron screen door, he was like this is it and I was like you got to be kidding me. The owner came out, asked my husband if he knew it was a cash bar took our ids then went inside. The owner brought back our ids then took us inside to a foyer where he told us the rules of the bar. Cash only, absolutely, no photography and no phones. If you need to take a phone call, you go back to foyer area or outside to not disturb people. We agreed to rules and went inside. The bar was dimly lit with candles on each table. The decor was amazing with pictures and antiques on the wall. We were sat at a table and given a cocktail menu. The cocktails were unique and separated by whiskey, gin, vodka and rum. If you need a light since it is so dim in the bar, they will bring you a light because they brought one to my husband. There were no beers on the menu so if that is what you’re looking for then this isn’t the place for you. We ordered our cocktails and they were amazing. Since there is no phone usage, you have more of an intimate experience with the person you are with because you aren’t distracted by your phone. We sat and talked while drinking our drinks. The owner came over and asked us about our drinks and how we were doing. We then ordered another round of drinks and continued talking. We enjoyed our time at Hop Sing Laundromat. Service was great, bartenders were great, owner was great, and the ambiance was amazing. This is a great date night spot for anyone who wants to enjoy a intimate setting with a cocktail or two. I would post pictures but again, No Photography so you would have to go in order to see it to believe it. You will enjoy this experience and not be disappointed.“

“The bartenders are great. The Old Fashioned was very whiskey heavy - I prefer a bit more bitters but it was a good, solid drink. I'll be back during Happy Hour (4-6) tomorrow. The Philly Cheesesteak was phenomenal - the bread was soft and soaked up the au jus perfectly, the cheese was creamy with a great sharp flavor and the beef was tender and delicious!

Atmosphere is not bad for a hotel lobby. Be warned, they include a 20% gratuity in the bill.“

“This is straight up one of the coolest vibes in black Philadelphia. You get such a diverse crowd of people across the diaspora and the food is amazing. Karaoke night brings out some REAL singers but even if you aren’t good, the crowd is still so supportive and fun. I really love this place.“

“the north side of the station, take stairs next to Women's bathroom. Its long, narrow lounge, few tables/desk with chairs by window for charging. Furnitures were bit soiled and outdated. Although small, rarely full and plenty of spaces. The lounge has small conf room. Has soda, juice, bottle water in the refridge, nice coffee machine for various coffee/cocoa, hot water and reg water fountain, various nuts, cookies, chips and orange/banana. Nice to stackup on snacks and drinks for the trip but most important benefit is early access to the platform. There are several elevators to get to the platform. When ready to board, Lounge agent will come and announce the train to be boarded and let lounge passengers get to the platform while reg passengers waited in line. Agent has to scan card to operate the elevator. If you have bags or need help, Amtrak staff will come and take your bags. Small but clean bathroom.“

The shisha is super smooth, the prices are incredibly fair, and the customer service makes you feel like family the second you walk through the door. “I visited El Patio Cafe Restaurant for the first time. I ordered the chocolate milkshakes with whipped cream and cherries for me and my daughter. It was so light and airy, affordably priced for the container size. The environment is warm and inviting with a small seating area to accommodate ten people, in case you are waiting on your order to be completed. Speaking of orders, the menu displays a variety of multicultural foods and they are affordable for the budget-conscious eater. Overall, I highly recommend El Patio Cafe Restaurant as my go-to neighborhood eatery for good eats and sweet treats. If you are reading this review and you are not local to the South Philadelphia area, I suggest you check them out with a friend.“

In addition, the customer service was amazing. The young men at the restaurant were very knowledgeable of the items on the menu and knew exactly what to pitch to me for me to be satisfied! I was looking for something light and on the go and I tried the Sea Sampler! Baby— you can’t get this back home!!! The fried fish was fried to perfection, the salmon rolls were something I’ve never tasted before the sauce was the best pairing and last but not least those CRAB FRIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will be back before leaving Philly this weekend!

“I had such a fantastic time at Art Bar! Franklin and Izzy were incredibly warm and welcoming from the moment I walked in.
Franklin, in particular, was amazing. He has such a great personality and made the whole experience enjoyable. Even though they were out of quite a few items, he was so accommodating and made sure I had everything I needed without any issues. It seemed like he probably could have used a bit more support behind the bar, but he handled it like a pro and still did a great job.
