I've gotten so used to just-okay cuisine served at the plethora of just-okay restaurants, I can vouch for that scratch kitchen claim, as Skylark reminded me of just how good food can taste. Skylark's on-line reservation form offered nothing before 6:30 in the evening. But when we arrived, many tables were open, so I don't see why we could not have made it 6:00, which is what I'd would've preferred. Next time, I'll just call.

A tip of the hat for Skylark's policy of discounting the bill by 3% if you pay in cash. Why don't all retail establishments offer this? It ought to be the law. Restaurants and stores that charge the same for payment in cash or credit card make more money if you pay with the former, as they don't have to fork over a cut to the banks issuing the latter.“

“For a $1000 meal I expect flawless service and unfortunately that was not the case. Drinks ordered during dinner arrived while eating desert. Two times they brought over the wrong drinks and one order they completely forgot.. Also when waiter brings over food he should know who ordered what and not have to ask again. Food was good but service needs improvement if those are the prices you will be charging.“

“Found on a whim coming out of NY. But out of the way, but so worth it. Parking was free valet which was nice. Food was absolutely amazing! Excellent flavor and great portion size. Really got a good amount for the money. Staff was polite and took care of us quickly without feeling pushed. Place was a little extra loud with a hig intensity light show going, but it was Saturday night and they were getting ready to turn into a night club. Highly recommend!“
