Excellent drink selection, steady cigar selection with rotating stock, live music on certain nights, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and to top it all off one of the best smoke ventilation systems around!“

“Took my husband here to celebrate his birthday. I started off with the fried green tomato tower, all the different flavors was like a party in my mouth. Next I had the lemon, dill salmon, I'm not a huge fan of asparagus but that was nicely cooked and tasted good. A nice size homade biscuit and jam. My husband had the smoked mac n cheese, the catfish po boy and spinach. The spinach was nicely seasoned and tasted so fresh. This was our first time here and we will definitely be going back.“

The wait time was 45 mins but it was okay because it’s intimate and peaceful and holds 45 ppl when is low key and mystique Shaan was my bartender and was super amazing and loving. Attentive although rot was pack but made us feel welcome and happy. Rito was the bartender and his drink was amazing short exotic and delicious. Nicole was the hostess the mostest. Love this place and appreciate the hospitality and great vibes from the workers and customers.“

“We usually come here on date nights for drinks, but decided to dine here before we moved out of the city. We are continuously impressed with the inventive nature of those working here. Both food and drink menus are rotating, some items new from season to season, while other staple items are reimagined with nuances to keep people’s palettes on their toes. I don’t think we’ve ordered something here that we haven’t thoroughly enjoyed. Tom is the mixologist bartender who is always pushing boundaries with his house cocktails. He has told us before that he tries to create a drink for each flavor profile. There seems to be a unique selection for everyone, and just like the chefs with their dishes, Tom is unapologetic in his choice of ingredients. There seems to be a lot of passion and pride in what is made here. Kiddo has a relaxed atmosphere, and the bar is our go-to spot. I cannot recommend this place enough, it is one-of-a-kind.“

“Intimate, moody venue with very elaborate cocktails that feature several ‘washed’ ingredients (e.g. gochujang washed xyz). It’s pretty cool, I guess. I would recommend stopping for 1 or 2 but I wouldn’t make it my whole night because it’s an awkward layout. The music was good, but something doesn’t quite gel together for me, albeit a beautiful space. We were downstairs (walk-in) - didn’t see upstairs (reserved tables), to be fair.“

“This was my second visit to Ripplewood Whiskey & Craft, and my first time experiencing their happy hour—and it did not disappoint. The menu had a great variety, and I enjoyed both the drinks and the pork bao buns.

A standout “happy accident” was ordering the pretzel rolls with truffle butter… absolutely amazing. That alone is worth coming back for.

The bartenders were attentive and provided great service throughout our visit. We also tried the deviled eggs, which were just okay for me—the mustard base was a bit too strong for my taste.

Overall, Ripplewood is a lovely spot with a relaxed vibe and nice outdoor seating in the back. It’s a great place for drinks, small bites, and a chill evening out.“

“I came here for the second time with my younger sister on a random weekday night. The server / bartender was super welcoming and so thoughtful! She was always consistently checking in with us. My sister and I got mocktails which were pretty good, not too tart, not too sweet. We both got smash burgers which were decent. It wasn't too greasy or messy, which is appreciated. Will return again to try out some other items!“

“Really lovely spot with good food and drinks. We loved the sourdough bread with anchovies and tomato butter, oysters with Alabama white sauce, strachiatella and Caesar salad. Everything had great flavors and textures. The smoked fish tartine and halibut were a bit disappointing, we found them dry and underseasoned. “I am a regular at Spin Philadelphia. I usually go and have a very good time. I enjoy the food, drinks, and the atmosphere. I recently had a situation where someone asked security to deal with me. I was upset and started acting up because I was being wrongfully accused. Even though my night was going bad, I felt better because of the way I was treated by some staff. The security guy with the bandana and the front desk ping pong player were very nice to me. They heard me out, showed me respect, and were very understanding of the situation. They assured me that I was welcomed back anytime. I really appreciated that. Thank you.“

“We stopped here for lunch on our way somewhere else because of the intriguing name. Boy was that a lucky coincidence. Service was attentive although, to be fair, there were only 4 people dining in.
The food was absolutely fantastic. The cold sesame noodles did not have the gloppy sauce one finds in most places. Instead, the noodles were dressed in sesame oil. Similarly, the roast pork buns were not the overly sweetened pork they use elsewhere. We also got the pumpkin dumplings that were out of this world. Finally we had the General Tsao's Tofu that remarkably remained crispy despite the sauce.“
