Didn't have any food but stopped in late one evening when we were in the area for a couple drinks. Fun vibe, very good drinks, friendly and knowledgeable staff!

Izzy's is my Fri night go to after getting off the train. James, Brian, Justin and the rest of the crew provide a warm welcome and great service. The hand rolls are excellent! It's really noisy and space is tight, and every once in a while I meet someone new for an interesting conversation. And it's just fine with everyone if I roll up with my New Yorker magazine for a quick bite on the way home!

The menu includes lots of little dishes perfect for sharing, such as perfectly cooked edamame with yuzu salt, and sushi options like Hamachi, bao buns, wagyu roll, and comforting miso soup. The quality of food and drinks impresses, making it a place that deserves more attention. Though the service can be slow and the space small, the overall experience with good food, great drinks, and a cool atmosphere keeps guests coming back.
