Had a few hours to kill between flights at Philly International, so my wife and I headed to downtown on the train looking for a neighborhood pub for lunch. Found it! This place is excellent. We had the roast beef and roast pork sandwiches. Plus the "long hots." Good beer selection on tap and in bottles. If we're ever in Philly again we'll return here for sure.
Great bar - cool vibe and a longstanding historic spot. The food is good, simple dishes prepared on the side of the bar. Can’t go wrong with a stop here, it’s absolutely worth visiting. Also worth noting it has a non-alcoholic beer option for non-drinkers!

Wasn't sure where/what I was going to eat, but I was thirsty so I stopped in for a beer. An excellent beer was on tap so I decided to get a sandwich and God damn if it's not the best roast beef I've ever had. Why God didn't give us two stomachs I'll never understand.
