We joined a friend for lunch here. Their lunch specials were a great deal. I had soup and salad for $9- and the salad was substantial. My husband had the half sandwich and soup. The hit of the meal was their new dessert- lemon mouse cake, which was advertised on the door. It was light, delicious, and served with a large amount of whipped cream. There is a large ramp for entry and many folks with walkers, canes, and chairs were using it.
Rule of Joisey thumb: trucks at a diner mean you must stop. This had no trucks so should have known. Before heading back to home in North Joisey needs a bite to eat. Extensive menu, reasonable prices but items we chose we really should have sent back. Back the real Coke and unsweetened iced tea almost made up for something. Place truly has seen better days. And don't get me started on the sad looking dessert case.
If you leave hungry it's your own fault. Casual dining good food prices aren't bad.

Guess it was my fault I didn’t say I didn’t want a shoe leather omelet - I should have sent it back right away but I just left it after a few bites…I have never had what was suppose to be an omelet over fried both on the inside and the outside- absolutely deplorable, wish I had thought to take a picture. I tipped my server thinking it wasn’t his fault but seriously it was so overfried he should have been ashamed to serve it!!!

Had breakfast here and enjoyed a very good omelet, but the price felt a bit high. For two people—two omelets and two coffees—the total came to $40. Maybe that’s just the reality of pricing these days, but it still felt a bit steep.

A Perfect Diner Experience – Thanks to Tim and the Amazing Staff!
From the moment we walked into this diner, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality that set the tone for an unforgettable meal. The cozy, classic diner atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for, but what truly made our experience exceptional was the outstanding service—especially from our server, Tim.
Tim went above and beyond to ensure our visit was nothing short of perfect. His friendly demeanor, attentiveness, and knowledge of the menu made us feel like valued guests rather than just customers. He was quick to offer recommendations, checked in at just the right moments, and even remembered small details about our preferences, making our experience feel personalized and special.
The entire staff reflected the same level of dedication and professionalism. From the welcoming host to the efficient kitchen team, everyone worked together seamlessly to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food was delicious, served hot and fresh, and came out in a timely manner—thanks in no small part to Tim’s efficiency and care.
It’s rare to find a place that combines great food, a comfortable setting, and impeccable service, but town diner delivers on all fronts. If you’re looking for a spot that feels like home with a server who truly cares about your dining experience, ask for Tim—you won’t be disappointed!

Alright, buckle up, because I'm about to sing the praises of Town Diner like it's the culinary equivalent of a standing ovation.
Town Diner: A Slice of Heaven Wrapped in Chrome and Vinyl
Forget those trendy, overpriced eateries. If you're looking for an authentic diner experience, a place where the coffee flows like a river and the comfort food hugs you from the inside out, then Town Diner is your destination. From the moment you step through the gleaming chrome doors, you're transported to a simpler time, a time when a stack of pancakes and a friendly smile could solve just about anything.
Let's start with the heart of any great diner: the staff. And oh, the staff at Town Diner! "Friendly" doesn't even begin to cover it. It's like walking into a family reunion where everyone is genuinely thrilled to see you. You're greeted with warm smiles and genuine inquiries about your day. They remember your name, your favorite order, and even that little anecdote you told them weeks ago. It's the kind of personalized service that makes you feel like a regular, even on your first visit. They anticipate your needs before you even voice them, refilling your coffee, offering extra napkins, and always with a cheerful "Is there anything else I can get for you?" It's not just a job for them; it's a genuine passion for making people feel welcome and comfortable.
And then there's the food. Let's be real, you don't go to a diner for molecular gastronomy. You go for hearty portions of classic comfort food, and Town Diner delivers in spades. The menu is a love letter to American diner cuisine, with all the staples you crave: fluffy pancakes, crispy bacon, juicy burgers, creamy milkshakes, and those melt-in-your-mouth pies. Everything is made with fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection. The pancakes are golden brown and impossibly light, the bacon is crispy and flavorful, and the burgers are juicy and satisfying. And the portions? Let's just say you won't leave hungry. You'll leave with a full belly and a happy heart.
But it's not just the quality of the food that makes Town Diner stand out. It's the atmosphere. The retro decor, the comfortable booths, the clatter of plates, and the murmur of conversations create a warm and inviting ambiance. It's the kind of place where you can relax, unwind, and enjoy a good meal without feeling rushed. It's a place where you can catch up with friends, have a family breakfast, or simply enjoy a quiet cup of coffee and read the newspaper.
In short, Town Diner is more than just a place to eat. It's an experience. It's a reminder of the simple pleasures in life: good food, good company, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It's the best diner I've ever been to, and I can't wait to go back. If you're looking for a true diner experience, look no further than Town Diner. You won't be disappointed.

The Diner of course is in a very good location just on Route 130 South from my location. The Diner has good food.I have been there twice but truly in love with the food. But here comes the good part.Who don't like nice and wonderful people to serve you? There's this gentleman called Shane and he is very very outgoing and a wonderful person. He cares very much for customers and he's awesome. The scenery of the Diner is also beautiful.I'm a Christian and don't make things up.That is a beautiful Diner and beside Shane who has waited on me two occasions and knows how wonderful a person he is, there are others working there with nice personalities as well.
