I moved away 2 years ago and before I left I would get the crab soup/chowder or whatever they call it. It had real chunks of crab meat and it was delicious. This was the first place I went to on my current visit and it was terrible. Loaded with imitation crab. Needless to say I was disappointed. The fact that not one customer was in there should have been a signal. I feel like the guy should have mentioned the change in the recipe especially because I’d mentioned that I hadn’t been there in s couple of years. Obviously I’ll never go back. Unfortunate.

Pancakes tasted like they put or spilled lemon or lime juice (sour) in the batter- scrapple and eggs food. If they fix batter the score would go to 5 stars

$14 Tuna melt is just canned tuna pored on some bread, no seasoning, no Mayo, overall the worse sandwich I’ve had probably ever. Was so bad I didn’t want to try swapping.

This is the quintessential road side New Jersey diner. It's small, has pretty much any kind of dish you want, the food was fresh, served fast with generous portions and fair prices.

I love diners like this because they tend to serve traditional home cooked meals at a good price. However, for the price here I can't say it's totally worth it. My meal came with a tomato okra soup and it was quite good and I appreciate the home flavor of it. The buffalo chicken Philly cheese was lacking in content and had a pretty bland flavor with only salt for most of the flavor palette. I would love to check out their breakfasts next time but the other meals are too pricey to risk another bland experience. Service was great and the atmosphere is what youd expect bustling with regulars. I wish some people would stop blasting tik Tok from their phones on speaker.

I don't eat sweets but the desserts looked good too. Worth checking out.

Ordered Ribeye medium. The steak was tough and flavorless. I will not be back!
